5 About Speakers Session 1 (Stress Management) 1. Health Problems of Nepalese in Korea Dr. Devi Basnet basnetdevi@gmail.com Dr. Devi B. Basnet did his Ph.D. from Sun Moon University, South Korea. He is a founder vice president of SONSIK. Currently he is working as senior researcher in Medytox Inc., R&D center, South Korea. He is also serving as editor-in chief of SONSIK journal. 2. Anxiety and Stress Management: Tips for Nepalese in Korea Prof. Kim Dae Hyun dhkim@dsmc.or.kr Professor Kim Dae Hyun is currently working as Head of Department of Family Medicine in Keimyung University, Dongsan Medical center. 3. Your Health and Safety at work: Prevention starts here Prof. Son Eun Ik drson@dsmc.or.kr Professor Son Eun Ik, is a Neurosurgeon in Keimyung Univeristy Dongsan Medical Center and he is planning to start a Monthly Clinic for Nepalese community in Korea in the last Sunday of every month from coming August. 4. Medical Consultation and Treatment in Korea for Nepalese Dr. Kim Jong Seo js@hanmail.net Dr. Kim Jong Seo is President of Daegu Medical Association, Korea. He has been supporting for medical camp in Nepal for long time. 5. An Initiative Support for Nepal s Health and Education Dr. Lee Jong Kyu zl3jkl@hanmail.net Dr. Lee is Director of Yonsei Family Medicine Hospital, Uljin, Korea. He has been sponsoring musical instruments to school in Nepal. Furthermore he has preparing medical camp in Nepal since 2012 and been donating medical devices in Hospitals of Nepal. Currently he is working as a Senior Manager - Energy & Environment, in Ecoeye Co. Ltd., Korea. He has passion to work in climate change, renewable energy and development of innovative policies. He has delivered more than 250 capacity building training programs on aforementioned topics in many developing countries. 16 INTRODUCTION TO SONSIK g]kfnl ljbfyl{ ;dfh sf]l/of (स नससक) The Society of Nepalese Students in Korea (SONSIK), a nonprofit organization, is the sole student organization of Nepali students, academicians and intellectuals in the Republic of Korea. The Society was established in 2004 with an objective to promote academic, professional and other mutual interests through a wider, regular and more frequent exchange of ideas and views among the Nepali students studying in different academic institutions throughout South Korea. Since its inception, the Society has worked to build up an academic network among the Nepali students by easing the transition into Korean society and to create a common forum for exchange of ideas about research and other academic opportunities. SONSIK does not have any affiliation with any corporate, political or governmental organizations. is the collaborative effort of the organization to give quick access of information for those Nepali students pertaining to study in Korea and events and happening related to SONSIK.
