3 THE GRANGE PILCORN STREET, WEDMORE, BS28 4AW A splendid, very handsome, Grade ll listed, period house standing in its gardens within a short walk of the centre of the popular village of Wedmore. Internally there are many original period details remaining including elegant decorative cornice and coving, fireplaces, flagstone flooring, working window shutters and good quality architraves and skirtings.

5 The house has been empty in recent years and yet maintained and improved where necessary. Whilst requiring some works and decoration it is an absolutely delightful property which has enormous charm and character. The front door opens to the reception hall with egg and dart coving, a central ceiling rose, flagstones and a fine staircase. This has wrought iron balustrading and a cross band mahogany handrail. Further into the hall is a door to a cloakroom and there's also a cloaks cupboard. At the front of the hall to the left and right are the two principal reception rooms. The drawing room has a marble fireplace with a cast iron insert flanked by two arched alcoves with a third alcove in another wall. Another attractive detail is the rose and lily cornice.
