2 Cleaning tips and practices Here are a few tips from our expert cleaners that can help you provide a great service, convert your first time customers into recurring and get the highest ratings. Start by tidying up the place, arranging pillows on the sofa, making beds, etc. Continue with dusting and vacuuming (pay particular attention to vacuuming in the corners). Proceed with cleaning the kitchen and bathroom. Mop. This process has helped me to be effective and always deliver a good service! - Swifter Marina Try to break down your total cleaning time into tasks (e.g. tidying up 15 min, vacuuming and dusting 45 min, kitchen 20 min, bathroom 20 min, mopping 20 min) when you start to make sure that you complete your checklist. 4 Bedroom 1. Make the bed and fold clothes. 2. Clear the surfaces so it is ready to be cleaned. 3. Dust and wipe all surfaces: Window frames, lamps, panels, doors, mirrors, wardrobe doors, etc. 4. Vacuum the room. NB: Remember to vacuum under the bed! 5. Mop the floor.
5 Living Room 1. Clear the surfaces so it is ready to be cleaned. 2. Dust and wipe all surfaces: Window ledges, lamps, panels, doors, mirrors, wardrobe doors, etc. 3. Vacuum the room: NB: Remember the corners, under the carpets and coach. 4. Mop the floor.
6 Kitchen 1. Do the dishes if needed or put them in the dishwasher. 2. Compile all garbage and take it with you when you finish the cleaning. 3. Clear the surfaces so it is ready to be cleaned. 4. Clean all surfaces: Window ledges, doors, kitchen table, chairs, cabinet doors, the surface of the fridge, oven and all kitchen appliances. NB: Remember to polish the sink. 5. Vacuum the room, move the chairs so you can vacuum under the kitchen table. 6. Mop the floor.
7 Bathroom 1. Compile all garbage and take it with you when you finish the cleaning. 2. Clear the surfaces so it is ready to be cleaned. 3. Clean the shower/bathtub, tiles, toilet and the rest of the surfaces; wipe down mirrors, bathroom counter, trash can on the outside, etc. 4. Vacuum the bathroom: NB: Remember the corners. 5. Mop the floor.
8 Cleaning materials Customers are instructed that they should have the following cleaning materials available for you: Universal cleaner (Universal rengøring) Window cleaner (Vindues og spejl rengøring) Wood/tile soap (Gulvvask klinker/gulvvask træ) Toilet cleaner (Toilet rens) Microfiber cloths (Mikrofiber klude) Vacuum cleaner (Støvsuger) Bucket and mop (Gulvspand og gulvskrubbe) Sponges (Svampe) Oven cleaner (Ovn rens) Remember to use the correct cleaning materials on the correct items and surfaces. If you are uncertain about what to use, ask your customer or contact us for support. If the customer has not provided you with the right cleaning materials to get the job done, ask for them to be bought for the next cleaning.
