COUNTY FAIR FARM WEEK July Learn about insects and animals that are important to life on a farm. Grow veggies and join the fun at the NatureKids County Fair! CREEPY CRAWLIES July 30-Aug 3 We ll get down and dirty this week as we investigate the grossest, smelliest and messiest things in the Garden. ADVENTURELAND Aug 6-10 Embark on a jouney to exotic locations, create artwork, learning about the plants & people from faraway lands. Includes a Harry Potter Day! THE NO-THEME WEEK Aug Spend a week participating in campers favorite activities from the entire summer. Cost/week: $200 ($175 for NBG members) PRE-K CAMP AGES 4-5 (campers must be potty trained) Monday-Friday 9AM-12NOON (Drop-off as early as 8:45AM) These mini-versions of each theme focus on engaging the imagination through play. Stories, songs and crafts bring the Garden to life each week. Morning snack provided. Use natural materials to make paper, dye and sculptures. Use the Garden as inspiration for photography, watercolors and other artistic mediums. LEADERS IN TRAINING Ages July or July Play teambuilding games, learn outdoor living skills and earn your Red Cross Babysitting Certificate (valued at $75). Part of each day is spent in NatureKids camp shadowing Educators and learning the ropes of environmental education and leadership. Cost/week: $225 ($200 for NBG Members) 7
