Officers determined that the substance was food coloring not blood. Grounds was contacted to clean it up. 4 Location: 418 COUGAR VILLAGE APTS Officer responded to Cougar Village 418 regarding a roommate dispute that turned physical. The suspect had departed from the area prior to the officer's arrival. The victim refused medical attention and declined to prosecute. Officer later spoke with the suspect who agreed to stay away from the apartment until the situation was resolved on a permanent basis. Officer advised they located the subject in a vehicle and were able to walk him to room. Investigation continues. QUASI-CRIM:OTHER INV SUSPICIOUS PERSON Feb 05, 2017-Sunday at 15: Location: STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER (MUC) Caller reported a black female, 20's, avg height, med build, wearing a white long sleeve T with polka dots and blue jeans, with ear buds in was in the computer lab fidgeting, walking around and talking gibberish to herself. Subject was gone by the time officers arrived. ADMINISTRATION FOLLOW-UP ARREST INFO/BOND UPDATE INFO Feb 05, 2017-Sunday at 18: Location: POLICE DEPARTMENT Isaiah T. Guerrero (18 yoa, 718 Abingdon St, Galesburg, IL) turned himself in to the PD and was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol. Guerrero was processed, fingerprinted and released on a notice to appear. BURG/THEFT FROM MV BURGLARY - FROM MOTOR VEHICLE Feb 08, 2017-Wednesday at 13: Location: P-PARKING LOT #6 Caller reported leaving his vehicle unlocked in Lot 6 this morning and is now missing cash, headphones and vapor liquid. LOST/FOUND/MISSING FOUND ARTICLE Feb 08, 2017-Wednesday at 13: A phone was found in the women's restroom at the MUC and turned in at the Information Desk. ADMINISTRATION STATION INFORMATION Feb 08, 2017-Wednesday at 16: Location: P-PRAIRIE HALL CIRCLE Caller reported a white 4-door car hitting her car in the parking lot of Prairie Hall and then leaving the scene. She requested an Officer to see if a report is warranted. She believes the vehicle is scratched. Officer and owner inspected the vehicle and found no damage. Report unfounded. The alarm went off a second time. Housing contacted an Electrician to replace the detector. No fire, no smoke, no damage.
