TRAFFIC ACCIDENT TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - OVER $1,500 Mar 01, 2017-Wednesday at 14: Location: P-LOT A CENTRAL Officer responded to a traffic accident in Lot A on IL/Q and IL/P Ambulance dispatched Unit 1 passenger female who was conscious and breathing. Victim was checked out by EMS and was not transported. Both parties will call for personal tows. 3 TRAFFIC ACCIDENT TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE Mar 02, 2017-Thursday at 20: Officers and EMS responded to Hairpin Drive for a report of a subject complaining of hip and leg pain after being struck by a vehicle. Subject was transported by ambulance to Anderson Hospital. State Citation issued to Matthew Hansberry for Failure to Yield to Pedestrian at Crosswalk which occurred at South University Drive at Hairpin Drive. Alarm was activated for unknown reasons and was restored multiple times. Housing was notified and arrived. After the third restore, the alarm did not reactivate. No fire, no smoke, no damage. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - HIT AND RUN Mar 03, 2017-Friday at 07: Location: P-CV PKG LOT 4F Caller reported his vehicle, IL REG Q318463, orange Dodge Caliber (Unit 2), and another vehicle, IL REG P495409, green Ford Bronco (unit 3), were both struck by IL REG Z707890, silver Toyota Corolla (unit 1). Officer located the driver of Unit 1, Tyler Haren, and issued him two state citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to report an accident to the Police. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT TRAFFIC ACCIDENT - $501 TO $1500 Mar 03, 2017-Friday at 13: Location: P-LOT B & ACCESS RD Officer responded to Lot B for a minor two vehicle accident between IL REG Z530545, Unit 1, and IL REG Q708040, Unit 2. No injuries reported. Parties did not wish to file an accident report at this time.

The RA had left the apartment prior to the Officer arriving so he was not able to document what was found. Investigation continues. Officer observed the smoke detectors to be covered. Investigation continues. FIRE RELATED SMOKE DETECTOR VIOLATION Mar 03, 2017-Friday at 17: Location: 525 COUGAR VILLAGE APTS Officers responded after housing reported a smoke detector covered in Cougar Village. Officer observed the smoke detector to be covered with a plastic bag. Investigation continues. FIRE RELATED SMOKE DETECTOR VIOLATION Mar 03, 2017-Friday at 17: Location: 418 COUGAR VILLAGE APTS Officer responded after housing reported a smoke detector covered during inspection. Officer advised there was nothing covering the detector but a pocket watch was hanging from it. Unfounded. LEE BASEBALL FIELDS Officer responded to the area of New Poag and Stadium for a report of power lines arcing. Edwardsville Fire was already on scene and had notified Ameren. Edwardsville Fire remained on scene to make sure the line didn't come down onto the road.
