The bidders shall be responsible for transmitting this information to all affected subcontractors and suppliers prior to the closing of bids. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in spaces provided on the Bid Form. Failure to acknowledge will subject Bidder to disqualification. ATTACHMENT Item No. AD-3.1: Reference New Attachments A. 2 GENERAL NOTES: Item No. AD-3.3: A. The Bid time is being adjusted to 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday September 20, SPECIFICATIONS Item No. AD-3.4: Reference Section Concrete Unit Masonry A. Refer to section 2.1, B., add the following; 2. Provide split-face block at exterior side of walls, color(s) to be selected from manufacturer s standard selection. Item No. AD-3.5: Reference Section Arch. Exposed Structural Steel B. Replace section 1.01, B. with the following; This section applies to all exposed steel members shown on the Architectural and Structural drawings. Item No. AD-3.6: Reference Section Modular Buildings A. Delete section 1.04, D. in its entirety. B. Revise the section to read; A. Studs: ASTM C645, hot-dip galvanized or electro-galvanized sheet steel, DW Type, punched web, 20 gauge thick at partitions, 18 (min) gauge at exterior walls, door frames and plumbing walls, sizes required to conform to wall thicknesses. ICBO approval number required. B. Track: ASTM A570 Formed Sheet Steel; channel shaped; same width as studs, tight fit; match stud gauge, solid web, long leg at ceilings. C. Revise section D, 1. Revise section to read as follows; BASIC ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS A. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Refer to and ; Applies to all work on site and in modular buildings ADDENDUM NO. 3-2

Complete 208Y/120 volt, three-phase, four-wire distribution systems for utilization, including feeders, pullboxes, panelboards, branch circuit wiring, motor and circuit controls and disconnect devices and wiring devices. 3. Interior and exterior lighting fixtures and controls to comply with Title Electrical work for the mechanical systems, except as specified herein as a part of other Sections of the specifications. 5. Distribution material, including equipment disconnects for and connection of the below listed equipment as required by the specific equipment furnished, such that a complete compatible and operable system shall result. a. HVAC, plumbing and fire protection equipment. b. All equipment by other trades. 6. Complete low voltage systems of equipment, programming, conduit, wire, outlets, junction boxes, backboxes and cabinets, terminal backboards, etc. for the following systems: a. VOIP Telephone; Refer to section and b. Audio/visual equipment. A/V: Television monitors on mobile base, with Wireless connection to the network. c. Computer. Refer to sections and Provide (1) 15 amps duplex receptacle at each outlet. d. IP Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). Refer to section e. Public address and clock systems. Refer to section f. Intrusion alarm. Refer to section and g. Fire alarm detection system. Refer to section and B. Comply with applicable standards and requirements of: 1. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). 2. National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). 3. American National Standards Institute (ANSI). 4. Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. (UL). 5. Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). 6. California State Fire Marshal. 7. Institute of Power Cable Engineers Association (IPCEA). 8. NECA Standards for Construction (NECA). 9. California Electrical Code (CEC). C. Interior Lighting: LED fixtures dieformed of 22-guage steel, minimum 4" deep housing and finished with baked-on 80% reflective white enamel. Fixtures shall be equipped with acrylic A12 diffuser mounted within hinged and latch door as selected by the Architect. Lighting system shall be designed for 50' candles maintained at desk level with controls. Lighting system to comply with TL24. When occupant load is such to require exit and emergency lighting, provide the following: 1. Provide LED exit sign above each exit door. Exit light shall have a white or black thermoplastic housing, green stencil text and battery backup to provide 90 minutes of power in event of power failure. Each exit light shall be equipped with LED pilot light and a push-to-test button. Connect to unswitched leg of interior lighting circuit. 2. Provide emergency egress lighting to produce a minimum of one (1) footcandle at floor level. Provide selected lay-in fixtures with an emergency battery backup ballast which will provide 90 minutes of emergency illumination. Backup ballast shall have a red LED pilot light and a push-to-test button and shall have a circuitry for self-testing in compliance with UL 924. Connect to switched lighting circuit and unswitched leg such that selected fixtures switch with other fixtures in room and automatically switch on in event of power failure ADDENDUM NO. 3-3

4 D. Toggle Switches/Receptacles: Shall be 20 amp, Hubbell #HBL1221 / HBL5362 series specification grade or equal. Color as selected by Architect. Cover plates shall stainless steel, satin finish. E. Outside Light: Shall be Luminaire Vandal resistant light fixtures, or equal, with vandalresistant prismatic diffuser and LED source and controls. Lighting system to comply with TL When occupant load is such to require interior emergency lighting and exit lights, provide exterior emergency lighting at each exit door. Equip outside light with an emergency battery backup ballast with backbox which will provide 90 minutes of emergency illumination. Equip emergency ballast with red pilot light and pushto-test button. F. Power: 1. Provide power distribution system. 2. Provide connection to all equipment. 3. Provide 15 amps, 120V general purpose duplex receptacles at maximum 8-0 on center at every wall. 4. Provide controlled receptacles per Title Provide 15 amps, 120V duplex receptacles for all data outlets and AV equipment. G. Panels: In each electrical closet, provide a 3 phase 4 wire 120/208 volt interior mount sub panel, adequately sized to allow for all electrical equipment and 2 additional unused spaces (Minimum). Panel amperage to be as required for load. Provide disaggregation of electrical circuits to comply with TL Provide additional (5) 20 amps duplex receptacles including branch circuits and (5) 20/1 circuit breakers in each building for owner furnished equipment. Coordinate with school district for equipment locations. H. Grounding: Provide ground rods or other means of grounding buildings, make necessary connections, and conduct testing in the presence of the building inspector in accordance with DSA's I.R Item No. AD-3.8: Reference Section Data Communications System A. Revise section 2.03, B., to read as follows; Provide 6 strands 50 micron MM and 6 stands SM fiber in lieu of 12 strands MM fiber. Item No. AD-3.9: Reference Section Piped Utilities B.
