3 Parameterization Siemen upplie the LME39 burner control with the factory etting a pecified in «Type ummary». The OEM can change the Siemen default etting to meet it own requirement. With the LME39, the burner control characteritic are determined primarily through parameterization. Every time the unit i recommiioned, the parameter etting mut be checked. The LME39 mut never be tranferred from one plant to another without matching the parameter to the new plant. Caution Warning Parameter and etting may only be changed by qualified taff. If parameter are changed, reponibility for the new parameter etting i aumed by the peron who in accordance with the acce right ha made parameter change on the repective acce level. After parameterization, the OEM mut check to enure that afe burner operation will be warranted. The OEM which made the etting i alway reponible for the parameter, their etting and compliance of the repective application with the relevant national and international tandard and afety regulation, uch a EN 676, EN 267, EN 1643, etc. Siemen, it upplier and other Group Companie of Siemen Ltd. do not aume reponibility for pecial or indirect damage, conequential damage, other damage, or damage reulting from wrong parameterization. If the factory etting are changed, all change made mut be documented and checked by the OEM. The OEM i obliged to mark the unit accordingly and to include at leat the lit of device parameter and etting in the burner documentation. Siemen alo recommend attaching an additional mark on the LME39 in the form of an adheive label. A pecified in EN 298, the label hould be eay to read and wipe proof. The label with a maximum ize of 70 x 45 mm can be attached to the upper part of the houing. Example of label: OEM logo Product no. / part no.: ABCD Caution! OEM etting: Parameter no. 225 = 30 (t1) 226 = 2 (t3) 230 = 10 (t4) 234 = 0 (t8) 240 = 1 (repetition) 257 = 2 (t3n) TSA = t3n + 0.,7 259 = 30 (t11) 260 = 30 (t12) 3/17

4 Intallation note Alway run the ignition cable eparate from the unit and other cable while oberving the greatet poible ditance Do not mix up live and neutral conductor Intall witche, fue, earthing, etc., in compliance with local regulation The connection diagram how the burner control with earthed neutral conductor. In network with nonearthed neutral conductor and ionization current uperviion, terminal 2 mut be connected to the earth conductor via an RC unit (product no. ARC ). It mut be made certain that local regulation are complied with (e.g. protection againt electric hock hazard) ince AC 120 V / 50 Hz or AC 230 V / 60 Hz main voltage produce peak leakage current of 2.7 ma Make certain that the maximum permiible current rating of the connection terminal will not be exceeded Do not feed external main voltage to the control output of the unit. When teting the device controlled by the burner control (fuel valve, etc.), the LME39 mut not be connected In the cae of burner with no fan motor, an AGK25 mut be connected to terminal 3 of the unit, or ele the burner cannot reliably be tarted up To prevent mixup of different type of burner control, the LME39 mut alway be ued in connection with grey plug-in bae AGK11.6. Make abolutely certain that the live conductor for the control thermotat or preuretat «R / W» i tapped after the ga preure witch «GP» and the afety limit thermotat «STB» and connected to terminal 11 (refer to «Connection diagram») Connecting cable from LME39 to AZL2 or from LME39 to OCI400 / OCI410 : Since the BCI interface ha no afe eparation from main voltage, the connecting cable between LME39 and AZL2, or LME39 and OCI400 / OCI410, mut conform to certain pecification. Siemen ha pecified the cable for ue under the burner hood (cable upplied by Hütter; refer to «Technical data»). When uing cable of other manufacture, Siemen requirement will not necearily be met Do not lay the connecting cable from the LME39 to the AZL2 together with other cable. Ue a eparate cable Service operation with a longer connecting cable from LME39 to AZL2, or from LME39 to OCI410 : If a longer cable i required for ervice work for example (hort-time, <24 hour), note that above uage under the burner hood no longer applie and, for thi reaon, the cable can be ubjected to increaed mechanical tre. In that cae, extra cable heathing i required (e.g. heat hrink tubing) Both the cable and the AZL2 diplay and operating unit mut be hipped and tored o that no damage due to dut and water can occur when ued in the plant later on To enure protection againt electric hock hazard, make certain that, prior to witching on power, the cable i correctly connected to the AZL2 The AZL2 mut be ued in a dry and clean environment For afety reaon, feed the neutral conductor to terminal 2.
