This year is the 48th consecutive Festival and it has happened because of the dreams and visions of many people within our Eaglehawk community. NB: SPACE WILL BE ALLOWED FOR EXHIBITS IN EACH SECTION ON THE SHOW BENCH. EXHIBITORS CHOOSE THEIR OWN EXHIBIT POSITION NB: SUPPLIED BOTTLES TO BE USED FOR STAGING ALL SINGLE EXHIBITS. MULTIPLE EXHIBITS CONES OR VASES TO BE USED. DAHLIA EXHIBITS CONES TO BE USED {6} No exhibitors, except those authorised by the Show Committee will be allowed in the hall while judging is in progress. {7} The Show Committee shall have the jurisdiction over the appointed judges and stewards. {8} Dahlias will be judged under the rules of the Dahlia Society of Victoria by a Specialist Judge who will be DSV accredited. All other sections in our schedule will be judged on AHJA Show and Judges Manual rules. {9} Awards will be made by the judges, whose decision will be final. Where exhibits are of equal merit the award will go to the named cultivar {10} The Committee reserve the right to reject or refuse {11} Any protest must be lodged in writing, with the Show Committee by 4:00pm on the day of the show. Protests must be limited to non-accordance of an exhibit within the schedule. {12} Exhibitors gardens must be available for inspection by the Show Committee and protest committee if necessary. {13} Junior sections are restricted to young people aged 14 years and under on the Sunday of the Flower Show. {14} Prize money will be available on the Sunday of show from 3pm. {15} All entries of 3 blooms must be shown in cone type containers, which are made available for this purpose. {16} Once 2 Best Exhibits won in any section at this Dahlia & Arts Flower Show in consecutive years, exhibitor must then enter in the next highest section of show DAHLIA SIZES GIANT Over 260mm. The jelly bean type leaves can turn to bright red in the sun and can be a Kind of shapes and sizes but always in crowded whorls.
