2 MONTENEGRO URN AND PLINTH The Montenegro Urn and Plinth was molded directly from an original Antique Pair of urns each with different coats of arms on the plinth. I have only used one of the Pair. The original large Urn We also have in our collection and unlike the reduced version shown here stands over 7 feet tall. The Urns where originally Hedge ends. the plinth detail only on one side as the other stood at the end of a Partere Hedge. the Urns appear to have Spanish influence as the detailing on the plinth indercates. I added detail to both sides of the plinth that it can be used as a free standing Garden urn. The originals antique Pair Purchased at Auction today stand in the kitchen of a Grand home. these decorative Urns make wounderfull interiour as will as outdore decore! 2

3 AVIGNON URN AND PLINTH The Avignon Urn is an important artectural Urn. The reproduction was taken directly from the original Block print of the Urn Published in the trade journel SOCIETE ANANYME DES HAUTS_FOURNEAUX ET FOUNDRIES, VAL D OSNE. EXTRACT L ALBUM ( No 17 ) Published The design is Roman in Origon and coppies of this Urn where selected and used in the sets of the movie THE GLADEATOR This form is very refined. the only Verence in our Avignon Urn are the Handels we designed to work with our composite stone. The cast iron originals are Highly sought after by designers, collectors and antique dealers. 4 WASHINGTON PLANTER A unique planter design that was produced in France in the 1870s for the emerging markets in the United States. The reproduction was taken directly from the original Block print of the Urn Published in the trade journel SOCIETE ANANYME DES HAUTS_FOURNEAUX ET FOUNDRIES, VAL D OSNE. I selected this design for My collection for its relevence to the American Garden History. 4

5 COADE STONE VASE The Coade stone vase was reproduced from antique, block drawings. circa Coadestone has a wounderful history, an industry owned and opperated buy a woman Elanore Coade in a time when men industrialised the nation. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Coade stone was a ceramic material that has been described as an artificial stone. It was first created by Mrs Eleanor Coade (Elinor Coade, ), and sold commercially from 1769 to The building boom in London, at this time, led to a high demand for ornate features to decorate and adorn brick-built Georgian houses. The showrooms of Mrs Coade's Artificial Stone Company, in Westminster Bridge Road, provided a huge array of 'off the shelf' solutions for builders and architects, ranging from small keystones for over front doors to corner and window features and almost entire façades. The factory was in Lambeth, London, where the Royal Festival Hall now stands. The company initially did very well, boasting an illustrious list of customers such as George III and quite a few members of the English nobility (Wendy Moonan remarks in the New York Times that Mrs. Coade sold to "a Debrett's full of English lords and Dukes."). Despite the presence of Coade stone at several prominent sites, after the first Mrs. Coade's death in 1821, her daughter and relatives (who inherited the firm) apparently did not do as well. The firm went bankrupt in
