Axor One provides a new way of controlling water in the shower: by combining multiple control components in one single unit, the bathroom featuring the thermostat mixer gains in aesthetic value and functionality, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby explain. Different shower functions can be activated with a finger, the back of the hand, or even the elbow. Temperature is set by turning the central dial; a small lever directly below regulates water volume, and the Eco Mode reduces water consumption up to 50%. The flow of water is activated and deactivated by tapping of the paddles: clear symbols indicate the specific water outlets the user can choose from (e.g. overhead, hand, or side shower).

Philippe Grohe has managed the integrated design management of the mixer and shower specialist from the Black Forest since October His connection to nature and passion for sport are what defines this avid photographer.
