1 ORDINANCE NO An ordinance amending the Comprehensive of the City of Dallas by amending the Oak Cliff Gateway Land Use Opportunity portion of the Trinity River Corridor Comprehensive Land Use : providing a saving clause; and providing an effective date. WHEREAS, the Policy component of the Comprehensive of the City of Dallas provides an overall framework to guide decisions over time toward achieving the vision component and acknowledges that land use and area plans may need updating to reflect changing conditions; and WHEREAS, on May 27, 2009 the City Council authorized a public hearing to consider amendments to the Oak Cliff Gateway Land Use Opportunity portion of the Trinity River Corridor Comprehensive Land Use ; and WHEREAS, the Department of Sustainable Development and Construction has developed amendments to the Oak Cliff Gateway Land Use Opportunity portion of the Trinity River Corridor Comprehensive Land Use ; and WHEREAS, the city plan commission and the city council, in accordance with the Charter of the City of Dallas, the state law, and the ordinances of the City of Dallas, have given the required notices and have held the required public hearings regarding this amendment to the Comprehensive of the City of Dallas to adopt amendments to the Oak Cliff Gateway Land Use Opportunity portion of the Trinity River Corridor Comprehensive Land Use ; Now, Therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DALLAS: SECTION 1. That the Comprehensive of the City of Dallas is amended by amending the Oak Cliff Gateway Land Use Opportunity portion of the Trinity River Corridor Comprehensive Land Use ; and 1

2 SECTION 2. That the list of area plans entitled City of Dallas s, attached as an appendix to the Comprehensive of the City of Dallas is amended by revising the year of the Trinity River Corridor Comprehensive Land Use. The revised appendix is attached to this ordinance as Exhibit A. SECTiON 3. That the Comprehensive of the City of Dallas shall remain in full force and effect, save and except as amended by this ordinance. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and publication in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City of Dallas, and it is accordingly so ordained.
