Kenardington is a popular pretty village with the ancient Romney March Church of St Marys, approximately 7 miles from both Ashford and Tenterden. The nearby village of Hamstreet has a general store, a pub and restaurant and its own railway station with connections to Ashford International (30 minute high speed train to London Stratford International and 37 minutes to London St Pancras/Kings Cross), Rye, Hastings and Brighton. The neighbouring village of Warehorne (1 mile) boasts an excellent gastropub, the Woolpack. There are primary schools in Hamstreet, Woodchurch and Tenterden.
