3 Location Roskruge Barton Cottage is located on the Lizard and is a short distance from historic Manaccan, a charming village with a thatched pub - the New Inn - restaurant, primary school and a Norman church. Approximately 2 miles away is Helford Village and the south bank of the Helford River. This charming riverside village allows a tranquil pace of life in this unique area of Cornwall. There is a sailing club, the waterside Shipwrights Inn, deep water moorings in the river and in the summer a pedestrian ferry to Helford Passage on the north side of the river. In the most part the gardens are surrounded by low Cornish stone walls; to the rear of the house the lawn slopes up to a low wall and offers fantastic views of the meadow and countryside beyond.
