4 SITUATION The Glebe House occupies an attractive setting within its own land on the edge of, and with views towards, the Chiltern Hills. Lying to the south east is the Prime Minister s country house, Chequers. The market town of Princes Risborough lies close by, providing a selection of everyday shopping facilities, churches, restaurants and a library in addition to a fast Chiltern Line railway connection with London Marylebone and Birmingham. Princes Risborough has a number of nursery and primary schools in addition to a secondary school and St Teresa s, an independent Catholic school. The area has a number of golf clubs to choose from including the highly regarded eighteen hole Ellesborough Golf Club that is close by, whilst Princes Risborough boasts its own tennis club. The house is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which consequently boasts beautiful walks, cycle paths and extensive bridleways. 10 OUTSIDE The house is approached down a long private drive leading to electric solid wood gates giving way to a large parking and turning area to the front of the house.
