Limestone is found as this intercalations within dolomite.therefore any seperate bench was not made. Entire soil is Lateritc soil and murrum. Any record of OB genration is not maintained. 2f General remarks of inspecting officers on development of pit w.r.t. type of deposit etc --- Litho units of Mahakaushal group of Lower and Middle Proterozoic age are exposed in the lease area.strike of litho units is EW to N70oE-S70oW dipping with 55o to 70o due South direction.limeston is found as thin intercalations within dolomite alongwith phyllite. These are overlained by a murrum / Lateritic soil layer having thickness 1m to 2m. Pit has been developed along the strike of the formation.
