Any record of OB genration is not maintained. 2f General remarks of inspecting officers on development of pit w.r.t. type of deposit etc --- Litho units of Mahakaushal group of Lower and Middle Proterozoic age are exposed in the lease area.strike of litho units is EW to N70oE-S70oW dipping with 55o to 70o due South direction.limeston is found as thin intercalations within dolomite alongwith phyllite. These are overlained by a murrum / Lateritic soil layer having thickness 1m to 2m. Pit has been developed along the strike of the formation.
