2 // 2 // BANK OF BARODA Bihar Regional Office. 4 th floor, Anand Vihar, West Boring Canal Road, PATNA NOTICE INVITING TENDER The Assistant General Manager, Bank of Baroda, Bihar Regional Office,4 th Floor, Anand Vihar,West Boring Canal Road, Patna invites sealed Tenders for, Supply of New Fire Extinguishers of ISI Mark only.(as and when required) & refilling of existing Fire Extinguishers at the Branches and Offices of Bihar & Jharkhand Region in the state of Bihar & Jharkhand, from the Manufacturers / Authorized Dealers /Suppliers who fulfill the following mandatory conditions / requirements. - Must have an established office at least at a)patna,bihar & b) Ranchi/Jamshedpur,Jharkhand. At the center the firm must have either a sub office or an authorized permanently stationed Representative. (Documentary proof of the same must be submitted) -.The firm must be at least -5- years old in the same field of business. - Must have valid Sales Tax Number -. Must have PAN No - Must have Service tax No. - PF Registration if applicable. - ESI Registration if applicable. - Must have filed Income Tax Returns for last 3 years. - The firm must have a Minimum Turnover of Rs10 lacs per year for the last three years. - Must have necessary ISI certificate in case of Manufacturer and the valid Dealership certificate in case of Authorised dealer / supplier of ISI Fire Extinguishers.. - Should be in a position to give Rs.5/-lac of Bank Guarantee(Performance Guarantee) in the event of awarding the contract, if required. N.B. - The relative documentary proof in respect of above conditions / requirements must accompany the Tender without which the Tender will be summarily rejected
3 // 3 // The vendors fulfilling the above conditions, may apply in TWO BID SYSTEM i.e. Technical Bid & Financial Bid.Interested vendors may either collect the Tender Forms from the above address against a payment of Rs. 100/- to be remitted through DD/ Banker s Cheque in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna OR download the same from Bank s website / and submit a DD / Banker cheque of Rs.100/- in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna alongwith Technical Bid towards Tender cost. Vendors may submit the Tenders only in the desired format, in two envelopes as explained further, so as to reach this office by 5.00 pm on Submission of Tenders in any other format will not be entertained & will be summarily rejected. Note : 1. The earnest money deposit of all the unsuccessful bidders will be returned within a period of -30- days from the date of opening of the financial bid. However, in case of the lowest / successful bidder backing out from the terms and conditions mentioned in his tender or refuses to honor his tender, the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. 2. Bank reserves the right to cancel one or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever. Earnest money amount through DD/ Banker s Cheque for Rs.10,000/- in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna. 2. Tender cost amount of Rs.100/- through DD/ Banker s cheque in favour of Bank of Baroda, payable at Patna (to be remitted only by vendors who download the tender document from Bank s website). 3. 6 // 6 // FINANCIAL BID -I GENERAL CONDITIONS : The Rates Quoted whether for supply of New Extinguishers OR for Refilling of the Existing Extinguishers must be for ISI Products only. The cylinder, the cartridge, the ABC /DCP powder must all be of ISI mark. The Rates quoted whether for supply of new extinguishers or refilling of the existing extinguishers, must be Net Rates inclusive of all the levies i.e Excise Duty, Sales Tax, Turnover Tax,, cost of material (Powder etc) including cost of cartridge (if any), labour charges, transportation, servicing charges etc. However, the service tax, for the refilling and servicing work, if charged will be paid extra. The rates for supply of New Fire Extinguishers must also include the cost of installation including the cost of brackets, screws and any other fixing material. The successful bidder will have to give a security deposit of Rs. 10,000/- in the form of FDR, with the Bank, The security amount will be released after the expiry of successful and satisfactory completion of Rate contract for supply of new extinguishers /AMC for refilling of existing extinguishers.. The rates quoted shall be binding for 12- months from the date of awarding of the Rate Contract / AMC and no increase what so ever shall be considered. In the event of any breach of contract, the security amount will be forfeited. No conditional Tender / conditional discount will be considered. The Tender with any conditions /conditional discount will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected. Payment will be made by the Branches/offices within -10- days of the satisfactory supply & installation / refilling of Fire Extinguishers and submission of original bill thereof. Bank may ask for the Cost Benefit Analysis for any item, it may deem fit. I have read and understood the above terms & conditions and accordingly quoted the Rates. Seal Date : ----7
