5 Note:- 1. The Quantities indicated are approximate and may vary as per actual site requirement. Payment shall be made as per actual quantity. 2. The rate will include all taxes; duties etc and nothing extra will be paid 3. Income tax as per rules shall be deducted from the bills 4. All materials should be got approved before start of work. 5. The work should be carried out with minimum disturbance to the users of the building 6. Necessary work permits should be obtained for the workers etc 7. The existing facilities and structure should not be damaged / defaced 8. All waste materials should be disposed at the designated place 9. Electricity for the work will be made available free of cost. Necessary provision should be made for drawing the same from near by tapping point by providing necessary wires switches etc. All safety measures should be observed while drawing the electrical power. This should be coordinated with the maintenance team of IITM RP 10. All safety precautions should be observed while carrying out the work. The workmen should wear the personal protection equipments like helmet, safety belt etc. 11. A qualified supervision should always be available at site while the work is being carried out 12. 6 Calling for Quotations IITM RP PHASE -1 Sealed quotations are invited for the work of Cleaning of external glass of the building from agencies who are having prior experience in external glass cleaning works in multistory building and who have carried out at least 3 similar works in the past 3 years in buildings with a minimum height of 24 M ( From Ground level to top of roof - excluding machine rooms / staircase head rooms). The quotes shall be submitted in the prescribed BOQ which is enclosed and may be down loaded free of cost. The quote should be accompanied by 1. Experience certificates of previous works issued by the organizations for whom the works were carried out 2. A photo copy of the PAN number issued by the Income Tax Department of Government of India. Quotes with out adequate experience and PAN number are liable to be rejected.
