2 INVITATION FOR TENDER/BID FOR CHECKING, TESTING AND REPAIRING OF FIRE HYDRANT & SPRINKLER SYSTEM Bank of India invites Sealed Tender/Bids from eligible vendor/firm/company/contractor for repairing of fire hydrant and sprinkler system at Sandipani, STC Building, B-32, Sector-62, Noida Interested eligible Bidders may obtain tender document from Zonal Office, Ghaziabad Zone, S.T.C. Building, B-32, Sector-62, Noida ,from to (except Sundays & holidays) during working hours between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM on submission of written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs1000/- in the form of a Demand Draft/Banker s cheque in favour of Bank of India, payable at Noida. The Bidding Document may also be obtained from our website - The Price of Bidding Document (non-refundable) (Rs. 1000/-) shall be payable in the form of DD/Banker s Cheque in favour of Bank of India payable at Noida, at the time of submission of bid document. No forms downloaded through website would be accepted/considered valid without the payment of the price of Bidding Document. Document must be enclosed in a separate envelope. Part I to be filled & enclose with technical bid and Part II to be filled & enclose with financial bid. 2. The Bid has to be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) for checking, testing and repairing of Fire Hydrant & Sprinkler System in the form of a demand draft or payslip in favour of Bank of India, Payable at Noida. Such Draft/ payslip should be in separate third cover marked as EARNEST MONEY DEPOSIT. 4. The bids/proposal shall remain valid for 90 days from the last date of submission of the bids. 5. 4 Instructions for Bidders Sealed and completed bids shall be submitted at our office Bank Of India, Ghaziabad Zonal Office, Sandipani, S.T.C. Building, B-32, Sector-62, Noida and super scribed Tender for Checking, Testing and Repairing of fire hydrant and sprinkler system for said building sent to us at the address of owners not later than 1500hrs on Tender should clearly indicate on copy of the tender under their full signature the Name of Work, for which quoted. 1. No tenders will be received after 1500hrs on under any circumstances. 2. Technical Bids will be opened at 1530hrs on in the presence of tender committee and the bidders or their representative. 3. Tenders shall remain open to acceptance by the Bank for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of the price bid and the tenderer shall not cancel or withdraw the tender during this period. In case the tenderer withdraws their tender prior to the expiry of 90 days then the contractor shall be treated as the defaulter and the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. 4. The tender document is non-transferable. 5. Rates should be quoted both in figures and words in columns specified. All erasures and alterations made while filling the tender must be attested by initials of the tenderers. Overwriting of figures is not permitted; failure to comply with either of these conditions will render the tender void at the authority s option. In case of any discrepancy in the amount of the item the corresponding rate quoted will prevail & amount will be concluded accordingly. 6. Each of documents should be signed by the contractors submitting the tender in token of his/their having acquainted himself/themselves with the general conditions of contract, specifications, special conditions etc. as laid down. Any tender with any of the documents not signed will be rejected. 7. The tender submitted on behalf of a firm shall be signed by all the partners of the firm or by a partner who has the necessary authority on behalf of the firm to enter into the proposed contract. Otherwise the tender may be rejected by the authorities. 8. The Bank will have a right to accept or reject any or all the tenders, either in whole or in part without assigning any reason for doing so.

5 Qualification requirement of the Bidder: The bidder/vendor/contractor/firm/companies, who fulfill the following qualification criteria- a) The bidder should have an office at least in following places i. New Delhi. ii. Noida. iii. Ghaziabad. b) The bidder should have minimum 05(Five) year experience in the field of captioned work. c) The contractor should be an income tax assesse and should have filed income tax return for the last assessment year. d) The average financial turnover during in the last three years ending as on 31 st March 2016 should be Rs. 10 (Ten) Lakh per year. e) The bidder/firm must have minimum 05(Five) year experience of successful execution of installation of fire hydrant & Sprinkler system Or maintenance of fire hydrant & sprinkler system in Govt./PSU/Nationalized banks/private firmsor repairing of fire hydrant and sprinkler system. i) at least three(03) similar works costing minimum Rs.2 (Two)Lakh each out of which at least one work should have been in Noida, Delhi or Ghaziabad. or ii) at least two(02) similar works costing minimum Rs. 3(Three)lakh each out of which at least one work should have been in Noida, Delhi or Ghaziabad. or iii) at least one (01) similar work costing Rs.4(Four)Lakh. If this single work was carried out outside Noida, Delhi or Ghaziabad then at least minimum cost of should be Rs. 5(five) Lakh. f) The bidder could be a sole proprietary concern/partnership firm or a company and should be registered of Firms/Companies wherever applicable. h)the company/ firm/bidder should have valid sale tax no., P.F registration, ESI registration etc. whichever is applicable.

6 i) If repairing work or any other will found unsatisfactory then there will penalty of Rs. 10,000/- and work order may be terminated by giving 7 days prior notice to the vendor/contractor Submission of bid:- The offers must be submitted in separate sealed covers as under:- Technical Bid:- a. Technical Bid as per Form-1 b. Technical bid containing all detailed which have asked by us and signed all tender document (Form-1) as a acceptance of technical parameter c. Demand Draft/Pay slip of Rs. 20,000/- as a EMD (Earnest Money Deposit) in favour of Bank Of India payable at Noida. d. Demand draft/pay order of Rs. 1,000/- as a Tender cost, in case the tender download from our website or pay receipt if tender document was collected from our office. Commercial Bid:- Commercial bid have only the price bid quoted by vendor in prescribed format (annexure-ii)only. No other format will be accepted by the Bank. The prices/offer shall be valid for 90 days only. Scope of Work The work consists of the proposed checking, testing and repairing work of fire hydrant and sprinkler system for said buildings. The term and conditions shall be as under- a. The contractor shall strictly comply all terms and conditions of the tender document. b. The Engineer/Technician of contractor/vendor will thoroughly inspect/check the entire fire hydrant and sprinkler system of the building including Electrical Fire Pumps, Diesel Engine Fire Pump, Fire Panels, Fire Risers, Sprinklers, Stop valves (sluice/butterfly type), NRVs, Pressure Switches, Alarm Valves, Fire Service Inlet, Fire Brigade Inlet, Air Vessels etc. c. The vendor shall do overhaul repairing of all fire pumps including Diesel Engine Fire Pump and Fire Alarm panel in all aspects. The adequate water pressure (on discharge basis) shall develop by the fire pumps after repairing work. d. The work shall have for rewinding and repairing of jockey pump of 15 HP 80 meter Head, Replacement of ball bearing, packing, gasket and nut bolts and any other accessories which need to proper functioning of Jockey Pump. The jockey will be tested and commissioned after the repairing work. e. The fire electric panel shall be tested and repaired of main feeder panel of 100 HP star delta starter, 15 HP DOL starter, 24 V DC Diesel engine control Panel, main incomer 400 amp, 400 amp RYB aluminum incomer bus bar, volt amp free indicator light, fully

7 automatic functioning. The electric panel will be tested and commissioned after the repairing work. f. The work shall have for rewinding and repairing of main fire pump of 60 HP 2800 lpm, replacement of ball bearing, packing, gasket and nut bolts and any other accessories which need to proper functioning of main fire pump. The main fire pump will be tested and commissioned after the repairing work. g. The vendor shall replace all faulty pressure switches, pressure gauges, stop valves, hose reel, delivery hoses, landing valves etc. (which are beyond the repair) in the fire hydrant and sprinkler system and which are absolute essential for making of adequate pressure in the fire hydrant system. The underground water pipeline shall be tested and will submit the consolidated health status report of pipeline. h. The Contractor/Vendor shall be responsible for any injuries to the work or workmen, to persons, animals or things and for all damages to the structural and / or decorative part of property which may arise during checking/testing/repairing of fire hydrant & sprinkler system of said buildings. i. The successful bidder shall have to deposit/bank Guarantee of sum of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) as Security Deposit/Performance Guarantee (refundable after the expiring of the contract) which, in the event of not carrying out the contracted services, as per terms and condition of the tender, shall be forfeited.

Main Feeder Panel: SITC of main feeder panel (LT/MCC) with incomer rating of 200A and star delta starter for 60 HP & 22 HP Motor+1 no.63a spare feeder including provision of 220 V AC supply for charging of battery charger of Diesel Engine driven Fire Pump. Panel shall be of 16SWG sheet with inside components of L&T. Panel shall be IP 65 rated suitable for outdoor application. 5. i Valves and Accessories Providing, fixing, testing and commissioning of following sizes of (Dia 25 mm no.2) forged lever operated brass ball valves ISI marked Pn16 related as per the requirements of sub contract work.
