The three areas join together to offer customers a one stop shop for all heating, ventilation, electrical and building needs. Some Examples Client Elm House Apartments, Stockton on Tees Location Tristar Homes/Stockton on Tees Borough Council Disciplines Heating Electrical Building Value 80,100 Description Boiler plant installation and heating system upgrade in a highrise apartment block comprising 46 properties currently occupied by tenants. Work was carried out to decommission and replace the existing boiler plant with new high efficiency boiler plant and heating system. The contract required the installation of new BMS controls. All required electrical work to upgrade associated electrical supplies to current regulatory standards and recommendations were carried out. All works to associated lighting, pipework, thermal insulation, building works and decorating works were also completed. Client Location Disciplines University of Teesside Woodlands Hall Value 463,000 Description Mechanical; Electrical; Building Installation of new low pressure hot water heating system within university halls of residence comprising 4 accommodation blocks totalling 196 apartments. This contract required the installation of full heating systems within each block. This included 14 gas fired appliances with outputs of 130KW complete with 343 thermostatically controlled radiators. All associated BMS control systems were also installed. New lighting systems in corridors and communal areas were also installed, along with a new suspended ceiling installation. Associated fire alarm alterations were also undertaken as part of this contract. HV&E also installed thermal loft insulation and boarded out the lofts to allow future working access. 8 ONE team, THREE specialisms - Heating Electrical Building

Some Examples Client Esh Property Services for North Star Homes Location Teesside and County Durham Disciplines Electrical Inspection, Testing and Repair Value 87,500 Description A programme of inspection and testing of electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with BS7671. Around 600 properties were inspected and tested. The programme included carrying out remedial works to the code one and code two departures identified in the Electrical Installation Condition Report. Reports were provided electronically to the client on a weekly basis. Client Location Disciplines Esh Property Services for Dale and Valley Homes Wear Valley Value 1,026,000 Description Electrical Rewires and Refurbishments Electrical rewires and refurbishments to domestic properties across the Wear Valley. The programme took place over three years with over 800 domestic properties receiving electrical rewires and refurbishments. The rewires involved complete replacement of the electrical installation in accordance with BS th edition IET Wiring regulations. Refurbishments involved replacement of consumer units and accessories, new circuits to kitchens & bathrooms along with additions of power points and external lighting. Test certificates were provided electronically to the client on a weekly basis. Both the rewire and refurbishment work to each domestic property were completed within one day to reduce disruption for residents. All installation work is registered with the local building control via NICEIC approved contractor scheme ensuring full compliance with Part P of the building regulations.
