3 Large Scale Planning Tessera on Lake Travis Lago Vista, Texas Strategically placed on Lake Travis is Tessera, a 900-acre residential development. Adams worked closely with the developer as the land planner, landscape architect and civil engineer to make Tessera on Lake Travis what it is today. Large Scale Planning Adams provides professional planning and development services for a variety of project types including multi-use developments, convention centers, universities, business parks, K-12 schools, residential, downtown plans, office parks, etc. e have the expertise you need for your next project. Adams provided all construction design plans and construction administration which included regular site visits. During construction, close coordination with the City of Lago Vista was required as the infrastructure portion of the development was constructed under a PID of $24.7 million in bonds. 4 Medium Scale Planning Medium Scale Planning Burleson EDC Adams provided all civil engineering, landscape architecture and consulting services for this 385-acre Planned Commercial Development (PCD). Burleson, Texas The focus of this 90-acre master planned multi-use development was on walkability and preservation of natural space. The site is anchored by a hotel/ conference center, large retail, grocery store/pharmacy, and a movie theatre. Strategically planned, the lifestyle center is in the center which pushes parking to the rear and allows users to feel welcomed into a very vibrant and pedestrian focused experience. The site combines retail and restaurant uses with second floor office spaces. A restaurant district maximizes natural amenities by preserving a central heavily wooded area and fronting all outdoor patios into it. Lastly, the site is united through a combination of trail and sidewalk connections. The site was originally designed as an infill rehabilitated site to include a hotel/conference center with an indoor race track for corporate team building activities in Since then it has evolved to incorporate a hotel/conference center, multi-story office, retail and restaurants.
