Kilve beach is just a mile on from the village. Beech Hanger has direct access to the 9,500 acres of Quantock moorland which are known locally as the hidden jewel of England as they are steeped in history, myth and legend and are staggering beautiful. With a mix of open moorland deep stream laced wooded coombes, wildlife is in abundance. Deer, sheep and wild ponies roam freely and for bird enthusiasts, numerous birds of prey can be spotted. There is an excellent choice of schools in this area with Wellington, Kings Hall and Milfield all within easy striking distance as well as Taunton School and King s College. Communications are excellent with the nearby A39 linking to Junction 23 of the M5 (Bridgwater), only 16 miles away which provides excellent access to London, the South West and the National motorway network. The mainline station at Taunton provides regular services to London Paddington from 2 hours 5 minutes. Bristol Airport is about 37 miles away and offers an excellent selection of domestic and international flights.

5 Beech Hanger As the name would suggest the property sits or hangs some 700ft above sea level on the side of the mighty Quantock Hills and is surrounded by ancient beech trees. Once on Pardlestone Lane, keep going up the steep hill for one mile. ¾ of the way up by a red post box satnav may say you have reached your destination. You have not. Just keep coming all of the way up the hill until you can go no further and Beech Hanger is right at the very top.
