From July 20 it became a legal requiremet for all products which are covered by a harmoised EN stadard to be CE marked before they ca be placed o the market. For door closig devices, EN 54 ad EN 55 became harmoised stadards across Europe ad are ow the stadards required i order to attai CE markig. Validatio of the CE mark requires the productio of a Declaratio of Performace (DoP) by the maufacturer.
