2 DOVER HALL ESTATE Dover Hall is so much more than just a picturesque estate atop beautiful, rolling acres, just as your wedding is more than a beautiful dress and artful flower arrangements. From the sprawling bridal suite to the professional summer kitchen to a ballroom that opens onto blue stone terraces, Dover Hall is an undeniably unique experience. Exemplary service was built into the estate s mission, and our staff is thoroughly trained to remain one step ahead of you throughout your stay.

3 V E N U E S A sunset ceremony under the arbor, a formal reception in the ballroom, or a bridal party tea in the solarium - the elegantly outfitted spaces at Dover Hall allow for endless event options. MASTER S U I T E A most intimate setting with subtle patterns awaits you in the Master Suite. The fireplace mantel is white Carrara marble in the style of Napoleon III, complementing the silk damask wall covering and upholstery. Resembling a French style, the massive pine bed is actually of English influence. Sparkling with reflections from the fireplace, we find an Edwardian crystal chandelier circa 1900 as soft alabaster lamps light the bed.

4 DRESSING ROOMS The dressing room is a combination of three spaces; a bath, a closet, and a sitting area. In the bathroom, a Louis XVI commode has been modified to function as a sink with gold-plated fixtures. Likewise, a large wardrobe from the same era houses towels and linens. Bridesmaids will have plenty of space to prepare in the sitting area and two-tiered closet. Across the hall, the complementary dressing chamber features details like the early gilt bronze chandelier, closets fronted with antiqued glass and a modified Louis Phillip mahogany chest of drawers that now serves as a sink. B A L L RO O M Truly magnificent in both size and style, the Ballroom measures 40 feet wide by 60 feet long. The wood coffered ceilings and wrought iron chandeliers with Gothic quatrefoil motif were custom manufactured for the space. The focal point of the room remains the incredible sandstone fireplace mantel originating from an estate off the coast of Scotland and featuring life sized lions. With convenient access to the terraces, bar, and grounds beyond, the Ballroom is one of Dover Hall s most popular indoor ceremony and reception venues. T E RRAC E S The formal terrace allows for both a tented event or, weather permitting, an impromptu excursion into the sun for a view of the pool and garden. The summer kitchen provides a catering base for serving, while elegant doors lead guests back inside the estate for a stop at the bar.

5 B I LLIARD RO O M Reflecting a trophy room from the era of Teddy Roosevelt, the Billiard Room provides all the ingredients of bygone days & safari hunt adventure. The groom s party can relax with a drink from the pub bar amid buffalo hide wall panels, walnut carvings, and an Empire wardrobe supported by dolphins & columns from the Wickham Estate in Virginia. FORMAL LIVING RO O M In this airy drawing room, we are treated to an ice blue damask wall covering, with patterns that direct the eye to details like the ornately carved 19th Century Renaissance Revival mantel flanked by Louis XVI torchéres with gilt candelabra. This softly lit spot is the perfect place for photographs prior to the ceremony, as the bride and her party rest on imported velvet settees. SOLARIUM On any given day the sun can be found streaming through the glass panels onto the plants and flowers that bring life to the solarium. The surrounding glass structure and Neo-Victorian ceramic tile floor design were produced in Great Britain specially for Dover Hall. The warmth generated by the sun can be enjoyed by all who venture to sit in this room. THE CONSERVATORY This 5,400 square foot pavilion provides plenty of space to accommodate up to 400 guests for your corporate event or wedding reception. This space is elevated off the ground and includes carpeted flooring. Equipped with a heating and cooling system, guests will be able to relax while enjoying the beautiful view from the large glass walls and doors.
