Nationality: Malaysian Education Herlina Ab Aziz was born in Malacca, Malaysia on June 2, She graduated from University of Science Malaysia in 1990 with a Bachelor in Science majoring Housing, Building and Planning. She received her Masters in Science of Planning from University of Science Malaysia in Accomplishments Mdm. Herlina is the Executive Director and major share holder of PEERS Consult (M) Sdn. Bhd., and established and reputable research and town planning leading firm in Malaysia. She has been in the professional field for more than 17 years, and is well known as a versatile lady town planner / researcher in the country. Since she established the company, the firm has been involved in national reputable projects with her own hands-on contribution to the planning of National Administrative Centre of Putrajaya and macro planning of Selangor State, the leading state of the country and other large scale, politically sensitive and technically complex projects throughout Malaysia. In defiance of her strong interest on recent developments in Science and Technology, Herlina is also recognized for bringing critical and exemplary skill to highly specialized fields concerning Sustainability Assessment, Social Impact Studies, Urban and Regional Planning. Herlina has shown in her intelligence and professionalism with a strong sense of responsibility, an analytical perspective and an impressive capacity to deliver complex project. Herlina has been recognised as the leading Sustainability Assessment Consultant to Federal Town and Country Planning Department projects and programs nationwide. Her assessment approach has been widely used by the department in assessing the sustainability national, state and local projects and programs. She is currently attached as the lecturer/tutor and advisor to the department in promoting the awareness and knowledge of planning government officer in sustainability assessment field. With her registration as Social Impact and Land Use Assessment Subject Consultant to the Department of Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, she has been frequently invited as the impact assessment consultant to Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and Sabah Drainage and Irrigation Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry Sabah for Environmental Impact Assessment consultant for their water resources projects. She has been recognized as a very committed person in all her endeavours, hence never fail her clients in delivering high standards output in all her projects involvement.
