Opportunity knocks. The wealthiest and most heavily populated region in the nation is also among the most underserved by the tiny house industry. We have people here clamoring to see tiny houses up close, we just don t have any tiny houses here! At least not until now. This will be the first time that millions of people in this region will have an opportunity to touch a tiny house. This expo will provide tiny house customers with their first side-byside comparison of appliances, construction materials and trailers. A common refrain we hear in this region's tiny house social media is "Where can I find a builder that will work with me to build my tiny house design." Burgeoning Population 41,473,985 people live in the Mid-Atlantic region. High Income The top 10 wealthiest states by median household incomes are listed below. (Mid-Atlantic states are in bold). 2 Limited Competition Surprisingly, there are very few tiny home builders in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Simply put, the Mid- Atlantic has not been as active as other regions (Pacific Northwest, Colorado, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida). Solid Demographics When it comes to tiny houses, college students and recent retirees stand out as the target markets. The Washington/Baltimore/Annapolis area is heavily populated by both groups. Our attendee marketing efforts will focus on these groups to deliver a potent audience to our exhibitors. The Venue The Howard County Fairgrounds are in a beautiful suburban/agricultural setting in West Friendship, Maryland. It is within a comfortable drive of Baltimore and Washington, DC, with easy access off major roads. The closest airport is Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), about 30 minutes away. This is not a farm-pasture event! Our show will take place in the Main Exhibit Hall, an 80 x 500 (almost an acre!) climate-controlled building with high ceilings and overhead doors that make it ideal for exhibiting tiny houses. This complex is booked years in advance every weekend of the year. The county fair will be held shortly before this expo and we will promote this event to fair-goers. There is ample free parking and other facilities to support a successful event. This venue will facilitate a very large expo

3 all under one roof, without fear of foul weather, where a healthy exchange of information can take place. During the Expo, thousands of motivated buyers will come over the course of two days to see finished homes and the latest in innovative construction materials, trailer frames, shells, appliances and fixtures. All of the ancillary services necessary to consummate the purchase of a tiny house at this expo will be exhibiting, including financing, insurance and transportation. Business Development This show will include 16 hours of exhibit time designed to foster an exchange of information between buyers and sellers. We anticipate orders being placed at the expo and within a few days afterward. VIP Tour Attendees will be given an opportunity to purchase a VIP ticket which will entitle them to a VIP-only tour of the exhibit floor an hour before the doors open for general admission on the first morning of the expo. This will offer a great opportunity to communicate with the most serious buyers. Networking Social Join other exhibitors and VIP attendees on Saturday evening for an after-hours networking happy hour on the exhibit floor designed to connect you with consumers and collaborators. Spaces for vehicles are approximately 14 x 30. Booths for other vendors are 12 x 12. Booth selection will be offered in order of deposits received. Electricity and wi-fi will be available at a nominal charge.

4 Shipping Advanced shipping of show materials to this location is limited. Call for specific information. Set-Up Vehicles move-in will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 27, Other vendors will move in from 2 6 p.m. Break Down Event personnel will be on site to assist vendors with breakdown. We anticipate breakdown will be completed within two hours of the expo closing. Sleeping Accommodations There are several options for sleeping accommodations including local hotels and campgrounds. There are a limited number of campsites available on the fairgrounds. Contact us for more specific information.
