2 Itemized Prices The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. Our policy for infants & children 5 years of age & under is: 40% of the adult prices for our itemized and/or packaged services; for children ages 6 through 12: 60% of the adult prices for our itemized and/or packaged services. Infants under 1 year of age qualify for an additional reduction of the cost of cremation. The following items are not discountable & will be charged at the normal rate: merchandise, cash advances, autopsy restoration, evening/weekend/holiday charges, processing of life insurance claim, international shipping administrative fee, postage & handling, reception facilities, coffee setup & additional mileage. Price lists for infant & children services are available upon request. Professional Services BASIC SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR, STAFF AND OVERHEAD $1,495 This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for all Family Service Packages, Direct Cremations, Immediate Burials and Forwarding or Receiving of Remains). Our services include: conducting the arrangement conference; planning the funeral, consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains, preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs. EMBALMING $495 Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose services which do not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial REFRIGERATION $495 Per day after 48 hours. AUTOPSY RESTORATION $200 RADICAL PROCEDURE OR REPAIR $95 Per hour. OTHER PREPARATION OF REMAINS $325 Dressing; cosmetics; hair care; placing deceased in casket/container. No other warranty, express or implied, of merchandising fitness of any product are extended by the seller. This special pricing is reserved only for families who select a casket from Hilgenfeld Mortuary. As the package prices are already significantly discounted, credits for deletions are not possible. These packages do not include additional merchandise or cash adavance items.
