9 History The Old Rectory is listed in Pevsners Architectural Guide to Gloucestershire as 17th century with later additions. English Heritage list The Old Rectory as Grade II of Architectural and Historical Interest and as a former rectory dating back to the 17th century with early 18th and 19th century additions. Date stones on the house show the main house was extended to the rear in 1881 and the extension was added in In 1998 the Coach House was extended on the first floor to provide a flat over the garages. The house is constructed of Ashlar Cotswold stone under a stone slate roof with Cotswold stone chimneys and finials. Seven
