Feeling Right Home When the owners first came to view the plot, the house was part built only up to the lower windows. They fell in love with the position, the views and the village and could see that the house offered the space they sought: As we came in at such an early stage, we were able to have input into the fixtures, fittings and finishings too, which has really made it feel like our home from day one, Over the years they have continued to upgrade and improve the already high-spec property, refitting the kitchen and master en-suite, as well as adding a conservatory by wellrespected local firm, Mortons. We had to get rid of so much rubble and it s taken a while for everything to mature, but it s now well stocked and full of colour and interest. It s also home to abundant wildlife, from swans on the lake to the occasional deer on the lawns, as well as many different birds, butterflies and bees. There are sunny and shady spots to enjoy throughout the day and five seating areas in the rear garden alone. We have kept much of the garden lawned so it s great for a family but if you re a keen gardener you could add more beds. There s room to indulge a passion for horticulture here. They have also found this a great base from which to enjoy all that Norfolk has to offer, being around 30 minutes from the North Norfolk coast and the same to Norwich itself.

14 The Accommodation You take in the incredibly striking elevation of the front of the home before moving through the front door, which leads through into the Main Reception Hall Stairs directly in front of you rise to the first floor, whilst underfoot you immediately note the oak flooring. There s so much space in here as well, along with natural light. Behind you is a cloaks cupboard, whilst opposite a door takes you through into the Sitting Room A wonderful front and rear aspect within this room, which is dominated by its fireplace with a wood burner set within and its bay window.
