8 Seller Insight 18 years ago when we moved to Cherry Trees, we were attracted by the beautiful location, say Freda and David. If you re looking for peace and quiet, this is really the place to be as we live on a quiet lane with no through routes so there is barely any traffic passing by. We can see for miles over the countryside from the bungalow and the beautiful views are a joy. The bungalow isn t completely isolated, though, as there are some stunning properties around us, though none of them overlook the property or the garden. During the time that we have lived here, practically everything has been changed and improved, from new windows, doors and bathrooms, to loft and cavity wall insulation to help with the energy efficiency. We also added a conservatory, which has been a very enjoyable addition to the bungalow. Overall, the house has been completely revamped, continue Freda and David. The village of Dodworth is only a mile away, and all the amenities of Barnsley are under two miles from the house. There is lots of redevelopment in the town currently, and it has everything we need. For larger shops, the huge shopping centre of Meadowhall is just a 20 minute drive away, via our great connection to the M1. We are only a few minutes from the heart of the countryside, with the stunning grade I Wentworth castle only a mile away and Wentworth Woodhouse stately home which is now open for public tours, there is a lot to see and do locally. A lot of time goes into making the garden look magnificent through the year. We are very into gardening, and have many fruit trees and a greenhouse that grows tomatoes, so we re almost self-sufficient when everything is in season. There is also a big patio area. There are hundreds of good walks nearby. We have the Transpennine Trail that is closeby, and Worsbrough Park is within close proximity. There is also a disused railway line that runs from Hull to Liverpool, so you can walk along it for miles.

11 The conservatory is our favourite room as it always captures the sun and it s pleasant to sit and look out at the garden. You can see the massive trees that surround the garden, as well as the odd beautiful propertythrough the trees.
12 We think the property could easily suit a family, as it has three bedrooms, though we have really enjoyed living here as a couple.
13 It will really be a wrench to leave as we will miss the peaceful location. We are moving so that we will have smaller grounds to maintain.
