1 ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND Annapolis, Maryland ADDENDUM NO. 1 MARCH 1, 2016 IFB NO FIRE EXTINGUISHER SERVICES TO ALL BIDDERS: Please see the following for the above-mentioned IFB resulting from questions from Bidders. 1. Clause , Delete the second sentence. It begins The Successful Bidder shall conduct its inspection/service. 2. The County shall accept responsibility to assure inspections are completed in a timely manner on all fire extinguishers for the first round of inspections. Beginning with the second round of inspections (renewal year one), the Successful Bidder shall conduct its inspection/service prior to the end of the month currently punched on the hangtag And shall be solely responsible for assuring that extinguishers are inspected and serviced prior to expiring. 3. There are approximately 250 buildings covered by this contract for Central Services Facilities Maintenance Division (FMD). The quantities on the Bid Response Form are estimates for FMD only. Other County agencies (example: Police, Fire, and Bureau of Utility Operations) may also use this contract. 4. A current list of FMD fire extinguishers is attached. The County cannot guarantee that this list is accurate. 5. Current security policy requires County personnel to accompany the Successful Bidder on County property for all Work at all times. 6. The County will provide the Successful Bidder with a contact name and phone number for each building upon award of the contract. 7. All quantities on the Bid Response Form are estimated annual quantities. See also Clause Kitchen Hoods are deleted from this IFB as they are the building tenants responsibility to maintain. Delete Clause 3.15 and Bid Lines #48 through The current Contractor and pricing are attached as requested. 10. All other Terms and Conditions remain the same.
