2 WARNINGS: Handle with care May irritate eyes. Flammable: keep away from naked flames. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Store in cool, dry place. Store away from food and feeds. Re-entry interval: Do not enter treated area until spray deposit has dried unless wearing protective clothing. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, the registration holder does not warrant that it will be efficacious under all conditions because the action and effect thereof may be affected by factors such as abnormal climatic and storage conditions; quality of dilution water, compatibility with other substances not indicated on the label as well as by the method, time and accuracy of application. The registration holder furthermore does not accept responsibility for damage to crops, vegetation, the environment or harm to man or animal or for lack of performance of the remedy concerned due to failure of the user to follow the label instructions or to the occurrence of conditions which could not have been foreseen in terms of the registration. Consult the supplier in the event of any uncertainty. PRECAUTIONS: Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling this product. Avoid contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils. Avoid inhalation of the spray mist and avoid contact with the spray Avoid spray drift onto crops, grazing, rivers, dams and areas not under treatment. Wear eye protection (at least glasses) when handling the product Wear rubber gloves. In case of contact with skin, wash the affected area with water and soap. Rinse empty container three times with a volume of water equal to a minimum of 10 % of that of the container. Add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank. Destroy empty container and do not use for any other purpose. Do not feed grass clippings to livestock or allow any animals to graze on treated areas. Do not apply through the irrigation system. USE RESTRICTIONS: CLIPLESS is a plant growth regulator that is absorbed through the leaves and should be applied to well established, actively growing lawns with good foliage cover Avoid applying CLIPLESS onto lawns under stress conditions eg. drought, waterlogging, mechanical damage, insect or disease attack, frost and mineral element deficiencies. DO NOT mow the lawn within 12 hours of application otherwise the uptake and translocation of CLIPLESS to the growing point will be compromised. Some discolouration which is temporary may occur where there is inadequate fertilization or the lawn is under drought stress. Similar effects may be experienced after the lawn is mowed and growth is slow. Yellowing of the lawn may also occur if an over-dosage is applied but these symptoms are temporary. If the lawn has been treated with and is responding to nitrogen fertilizer then there may be less growth retardation effect from CLIPLESS. CLIPLESS does not affect the growth of weeds and the application of a suitable herbicide will be necessary for their control. 3 COMPATIBILITY: Do not apply CLIPLESS in tank mix combination with any other products used on lawns DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Use only as directed CLIPLESS causes a reduction in the growth of turf grass and effectively reduces the frequency of mowing and the amount of clippings produced. CLIPLESS can be used on turfgrass areas such as residential and commercial lawns, golf course fairways, sports grounds, industrial parks, airports, roadside verges and areas with steep slopes. CLIPLESS can also be used to edge the grass on sidewalks, fences, parking areas, driveways and around trees, flowerbeds, posts and storage sheds. CLIPLESS is taken up by the foliage and translocated to the growing point. There is no absorption or uptake through the roots. Depending upon the application rate and growth conditions, CLIPLESS should be effective for 4 to 8 weeks. CLIPLESS is rainfast after one hour. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Half fill the spray tank with water and then add the required quantity of CLIPLESS to the tank followed by stirring/agitation and then add the remaining water and stir/agitate again. APPLICATION: CLIPLESS can be applied to common couch (Cynodon dactylon) and Kikuyu (Pennisetum clandestinum) lawns Only apply CLIPLESS 2 days after mowing the lawn. CLIPLESS must be applied with equipment capable of delivering good coverage and accurate and even distribution otherwise uneven lawn retardation will result. Apply as a broadcast spray to the grasses beginning after the dormancy break until late in the growing season. Only apply to well established lawns that have formed a mat. DO NOT apply CLIPLESS on lawns within 2 months of the first expected frost. Verder aanvaar die registrasiehouer nie verantwoordelikheid vir skade aan gewasse, plantegroei, die omgewing, of vir nadelige effek op mens of dier of vir n gebrek aan prestasie van die betrokke middle as gevolg van die versuim van die gebruiker om etiketaanwysings na te kom of as gevolg van die versuim van die gebruiker om etiketaanwysings na te kom of as gevolg van die ontstaan van toestande wat nie kragtens die registrasie voorsien kon word nie. Indien CLIPLESS in u oë kom, spoel dit onmiddelik met skoon water uit. Dra rubberhandskoene. Indien dit op die vel kom, was dit met water en seep af. Spoel die leë houer driekeer met n volume water gelykstaande aan n minimum van 10% van die houer. Voeg die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk voor vernietiging van die houer. Vernietig leë houer en moet nie vir enige ander doel gebruik nie. Moet nie vee gesnyde gras voer nie en verhoed dat diere wei in behandelde areas. Moet nie deur die besproeiingstelsel toedien nie. GEBRUIKSBEPERKINGS CLIPLESS is n plantgroeireguleerder wat deur die blare geabsorbeer word en behoort op goed bevestigde, aktiefgroeiende grasperke met goeie blaaroppervlak toegedien word. Vermy toediening van CLIPLESS op grasperke onder stremming bv. droogte, versuiping, meganiese beskadiging, insek- of swamaanval, ryp en mineraalelement tekort. MOET NIE die grasperk binne 12 uur van toediening sny nie anders sal die opname en translokasie van CLIPLESS na die groeipunt onderbreek word. n Tydelike verkleuring mag voorkom as die grasperk onvoldoende bemes of onder droogtestemming is. Soortgelyke effekte mag na sny en onder stadige groeifase voorkom. Tydelike vergeling van die grasperk mag ook voorkom as die aanbevole dosis oorskry word. 5 Als die grasperk se groei gestimuleer word met en na n stikstofbemesting behandeling, mag dit n vermindering in die groeiinhibeerde effek van CLIPLESS veroorsaak. CLIPLESS het geen effek op die groei van onkruide. Maak gebruik van n geskikte onkruiddoder vir gewenste beheer daarvan. Gedurende toediening verseker dat daar geen onbehandelde stroke of groot oorvleuling is anders sal onegalige vermindering voorkom VERENIGBAARHEID Moet nie CLIPLESS in tenkmengsel kombinasies met enige ander grasperkprodukte toedien nie. GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: Gebruik slegs soos aangedui CLIPLESS veroorsaak n vermindering in groei van grasperk wat die frekwensie van sny en die hoeveelheid gesnyde gras beperk. CLIPLESS mag op grasperke soos residentieel- en kommersiëlegrasperk, gholfskoonveld, sportterrein, indusatrieleparke, lughawe, padrande en stylgronde toegedien. CLIPLESS mag ook op gras langs sypaaie, heinings, parkeerterreine, rylane, en om blombeddens, pale en opbergingsstore. CLIPLESS word deur die blare opgeneem en na die groeipunt translokeer. Daar is geen wortel opname nie. Afhangende van die toediningshoeveelheid en groei toestande, CLIPLESS behoort vir n periode van 4 tot 8 weke effektief te wees. CLIPLESS is reënvas na een uur. TOEDIENING CLIPLESS mag op gewone kweekgras (Cynodon dactylon) en Kikuyu (Pennisetum clandestinum) grasperke toegedien Dien CLIPLESS toe slegs 2 dae na die grasperk gesny is. Maak gebruik van toerusting geskik vir akkurate- en eweredige verspreiding en bedekking anders sal dit onegalige grasinhibering veroorsaak. Dien toe as n breedwerpige bespuiting op die grasperk na die breek in die rusperiood tot laat in die groeiseisoen. Dien toe alleenlik op goed gevestigde grasperke. Moenie CLIPLESS op grasperke toedien binne 2 maande van die eerste verwagte ryp.
