Verhoed wegdrywing van spuitstof na ander gewasse, weiding, riviere, damme of areas nie onder behandeling nie. Moet nie eet, drink of rook tydens vermenging, toediening of voordat hande en gesig gewas is nie. Houers en verpakkings moet heeltemal leeggemaak word voordat hulle vernietig word. Skud die houer deeglik uit in die mengbak of spuittenk voordat leë houer vernietig word. Vernietig leë houer - moet dit vir geen ander doel weer gebruik nie. Voorkom besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei. WEERSTANDSBESTUUR: is 'n groepkodes 40 en M3 swamdoder. Enige populasie van 'n spesifieke swam mag individue insluit wat 'n natuurlike weerstand teen of enige ander groepkode 40 swamdoder het. Indien hierdie swamdoders herhaaldelik aangewend word, kan die weerstandbiedende individue uiteindelik die swampopulasie oorheers. Hierdie weerstandbiedende swamme sal waarskynlik nie deur of enige ander groepkode 40 swamdoder beheer word nie. Om weerstand teen swamdoders te vertraag: Vermy die eksklusiewe herhaaldelike gebruik van swamdoders in dieselfde swamdoder groepkode. Moet nie meer as SES Melody Duo bespuitings per seisoen in aartappels / tamaties en nie meer as VIER bespuitings per seisoen in wyn- en tafeldruiwe toedien nie. Wissel af met produkte in verskillende swamdoder groepkodes. Integreer ander beheermaatreëls (chemies, verbouing, biologies) in siektebeheer programme. Vir spesifieke inligting oor weerstandsbestuur kontak die registrasiehouer van hierdie produk. LUGBESPUITING: Stel alle inwoners van die onmiddellike gebied wat bespuit gaan word in kennis en rig die nodige waarskuwings. Moenie oor water en aangrensende gebiede spuit nie en sorg dat spuitstofwegdrywing nie dergelike gebiede besoedel nie. Verwys ook na die SANS Gebruikskode vir lugtoediening van landbouchemikalieë. kan slegs deur 'n geregistreerde Lugbespuitings-operateur met 'n korrek gekalibreerde, geregistreerde vliegtuig volgens die instruksies van SANS (Aerial Application of Agricultural Pesticides) uit die lug bespuit word. Verseker dat die spuitmengsel eweredig oor die teikenarea versprei word, en die verlies aan spuitmengsel tydens toediening tot 'n minimum beperk word. Dit is daarom belangrik om aan die volgende vereistes te voldoen: Volume: 'n Spuitmengsel volume van 30 tot 40 per ha word aanbeveel. Hierdie produk is nie teen 'n verlaagde volume getoets nie. Die registrasiehouer kan nie effektiwiteit waarborg, of verantwoordelik gehou word vir enige nadelige effekte indien hierdie produk teen 'n laer volume, as hierbo aanbeveel, toegedien word nie. Druppel bedekking: 25 tot 35 druppels per cm² moet op die teikenarea herwin word. Druppelgrootte: 'n Druppelspektrum met 'n VMD van 280 tot 300 mikrons word aanbeveel. Beperk die produksie van druppels kleiner as 150 mikrons (hoë drywing en verdampingspotensiaal) tot 'n minimum. Vlieghoogte: Handhaaf die hoogte van die spuitbalk bo die teiken op 3 tot 4 meter. Moet nie spuit wanneer die vliegtuig duik, uitklim of draai nie. Gebruik geskikte atomiseringsapparaat wat die vereiste druppelgrootte en bedekking sal produseer, maar die minste verlies van produk verseker. Die spuitstelsel moet 'n druppelspektrum met die kleinste moontlike Relatiewe Span produseer. Plaas al die atomiseerders in die binneste 60 tot 75 % van die vlerkspan om te verhoed dat druppels binne-in die vlerkpuntvorteks beweeg. Die verskil in temperatuur tussen die nat- en droëboltermometer van 'n swaaihigrometer, moet nie 8 C oorskry nie. Stop bespuiting indien die windspoed 15 km/h oorskry. Stop bespuiting tydens turbulente, onstabiele en droë toestande gedurende die hitte van die dag. Bespuiting onder temperatuur inversie toestande (deur bo of binne die inversie laag te spuit) en/of hoë lugvog toestande (relatiewe humiditeit 80 % en meer) mag tot die volgende probleme aanleiding gee: - verlaagde effektiwiteit aangesien die druppels as wolk in die lug bly hang en moontlik verdamp (onvoldoende bedekking op teiken). - skade aan nie-teiken gewasse of sensitiewe areas as gevolg van wegdrywing van die spuitwolk na nie-teiken area. Verseker dat die Lugbespuitingsoperateur presies weet watter lande bespuit moet word. Dit is noodsaaklik om 'n versekering van die Lugbespuitingsoperateur te verkry dat aan al die bogenoemde vereistes voldoen sal word en dat data van belang in 'n logboek saamgevat is vir toekomstige verwysing. 3 Swamdoder VERENIGBAARHEID: is verenigbaar met Folicur 250 EW (Reg. Nr. L3857), Decis Forte (Reg. Nr L6563), Flint Max (Reg Nr. L8827), Luna Experience (Reg Nr. L 9436), Luna Privilege (Reg Nr. L8997), Movento (Reg Nr. L8559), Scala (Reg Nr. L4972), Teldor 500 SC (Reg Nr. L6250). Die verenigbaarheid met bogenoemde produkte kan egter beïnvloed word deur die kwaliteit van die verdunningswater. n Fisiese verenigbaarheidstoets moet dus altyd uitgevoer word voor bespuiting. Tenkmengsels van met produkte anders as hierbo genoem word nie aanbeveel nie. MENGINSTRUKSIES: Maak spuittenk half-vol water, gooi die benodigde hoeveelheid in die tenk terwyl geroer word en vul dan die tenk tot die verlangde hoeveelheid water. Moenie toelaat dat die spuitmengsel vir enige tydsduur staan voor gebruik nie. GEWAS/SIEKTE TOEDIENINGS- HOEVEELHEID OPMERKINGS AARTAPPELS EN TAMATIES Laatroes (Phytophthora infestans) WYN- EN TAFELDRUIWE Donsige skimmel (Plasmopara viticola) GRONDTOEDIENING: 450 g/100 water LUGTOEDIENING: (slegs aartappels): 2,7 kg/ha in 30 tot 40 water/ha HOË VOLUME TOEDIENING: 120 g/100 water (Tafeldruiwe: g/ha; Wyndruiwe: g/ha. Verwys na Nota 1.) Dien toe as vroeë, voorkomende, hoë volume bespuiting in minimum van 500 water/ha (2,25 kg/ha). Verseker deeglike bedekking van die plante. Dien aanvanklik 2-3 bespuitings opeenvolgend toe vroeg in die groeiseisoen tydens toestande gunstig vir die ontwikkeling van laatroes. Dien as 'n tenkmengsel toe met 'n geregistreerde vroeëroes swamdoder (bv. Folicur 250 EW) voor of tydens die eerste tekens van vroeëroes (normaalweg vanaf blomstadium en daarna). Na 'n aanvanklike 2-3 bespuitings met of sonder 'n vroeëroes swamdoder, kan bespuitings elke 7-10 dae afgewissel word in 'n spuitprogram met 'n swamdoder geregistreer teen vroeë- en/of laatroes afhangend van toestande en siekte beheer. Moet nie Melody Duo meer as 6 keer per seisoen toedien nie. Indien meer as 6 toedienings nodig is per seisoen, dien ander geregistreerde swamdoders toe bv. Milraz 76 WP (Reg. Nr. L2879). Dien toe op 10 cm lootlengte of wanneer toe stande gunstig is vir die ontwikkeling van donsige skimmel of by die heel eerste tekens van infeksie (olierige vlekke sigbaar). Herhaal na dae. Moet nie meer as 4 keer per seisoen toedien nie. Indien meer as 4 toedienings per seisoen nodig is, dien ander geregistreerde swamdoders toe bv Milraz 76 WP (Reg. Nr. L2879). Waarskuwing: Moet nie toedien op tafeldruiwe na die ertjiekorrel-groottestadium van die druiwekorrels nie. NOTA: 1. Hoë volume (HV) toediening: Spuit tot net voor die punt van afloop en verseker egalige bedekking. Afhangende van die blaaroppervlakte dien spuitmengsel toe per hektaar. Verwys na tabel hieronder. 4 Fungicide WARNINGS: ALLOW 3 DAYS ON POTATOES AND TOMATOES BETWEEN LAST APPLICATION AND HARVEST. ALLOW 28 DAYS ON WINE GRAPES BETWEEN LAST APPLICATION AND HARVEST. DO NOT APPLY TO TABLE GRAPES AFTER THE PEA BERRY STAGE. NOTE: The recommended withholding period between last application and harvest meets local residue requirements but may not meet export requirements. If the treated crop is intended for the export market, consult the relevant exporting body before application of the product, regarding pre-harvest interval requirements. Toxic to fish. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Store in a cool place away from food and feed. RE-ENTRY: Do not enter treated area until spray deposit has dried unless wearing protective clothing. ALTHOUGH THIS REMEDY HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY TESTED UNDER A LARGE VARIETY OF CONDITIONS THE REGISTRATION HOLDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE EFFICACIOUS UNDER ALL CONDITIONS BECAUSE THE ACTION AND EFFECT THEREOF MAY BE AFFECTED BY FACTORS SUCH AS ABNORMAL CLIMATIC AND STORAGE CONDITIONS; QUALITY OF DILUTION WATER, COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES NOT INDICATED ON THE LABEL AND THE OCCURRENCE OF RESISTANCE OF THE DISEASE AGAINST THE REMEDY CONCERNED AS WELL AS BY THE METHOD, TIME AND ACCURACY OF APPLICATION. THE REGISTRATION HOLDER FURTHERMORE DOES NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE TO CROPS, VEGETATION, THE ENVIRONMENT OR HARM TO MAN OR ANIMAL OR FOR LACK OF PERFORMANCE OF THE REMEDY CONCERNED DUE TO FAILURE OF THE USER TO FOLLOW THE LABEL INSTRUCTIONS OR TO THE OCCURRENCE OF CONDITIONS WHICH COULD NOT HAVE BEEN FORESEEN IN TERMS OF THE REGISTRATION. CONSULT THE SUPPLIER IN THE EVENT OF ANY UNCERTAINTY. PRECAUTIONS: Do not inhale dust or spraymist. Wash contaminated clothing daily. Wash with soap and water after use. Prevent spray drift towards and contamination of water supplies, rivers, dams and other crops not being treated. Do not eat, drink or smoke during application or before washing hands and face. Containers and packages must be completely emptied before being disposed of. Shake out thoroughly into the mixing or spray tank before destroying the empty container. Destroy empty container and do not re-use for any other purpose. Prevent contamination of food, feed, drinking water and eating utensils. RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT: For resistance management, is a group code 40 and M3 fungicide. Any fungus population may contain individuals naturally resistant to and other group code 40 fungicides. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the fungus population if these fungicides are used repeatedly. These resistant fungi may not be controlled by Melody Duo or any other group code 40 fungicides. To delay fungicide resistance: Avoid exclusive repeated use of fungicides from the same fungicide group code. Do not apply more than SIX times per season in potatoes / tomatoes and FOUR times per season in wine and table grapes. Alternate with products from different fungicide group codes. Integrate other control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into disease control programs. AERIAL APPLICATION: Notify all inhabitants of the immediate area to be sprayed and issue the necessary warnings. Do not spray over or allow drift to contaminate adjacent areas or water. Please refer to the SANS Code of Practice for the aerial application of agricultural chemicals. Aerial application of may only be done by a registered Aerial Application Operator using a correctly calibrated, registered aircraft according to the instructions of SANS (Aerial Application of Agricultural Pesticides). Ensure that the spray mixture is distributed evenly over the target area and that the loss of spray material during application is restricted to a minimum. It is therefore essential that the following criteria be met: Volume: A spray mixture volume of 30 to 40 per hectare is recommended. As this product has not been evaluated at a reduced volume rate, the registration holder cannot guarantee efficacy, or be held responsible for any adverse effects if this product is applied aerially at a lower volume rate than recommended above. Droplet coverage: 25 to 35 droplets per cm² must be recovered at the target area. Droplet size: A droplet spectrum with a VMD of 280 tot 300 microns is recommended. Limit the production of fine droplets less than 150 microns (high drift and evaporation potential) to a minimum. Flying height: Maintain the height of the spray boom at 3 to 4 metres above the target. Do not spray when aircraft dives, is in a climb or when banking. Use suitable atomising equipment that will produce the desired droplet size and coverage, but which will ensure the minimum loss of product. The spraying system must produce a droplet spectrum with the lowest possible Relative Span. Position all the atomisers within the inner 60 to 75 % of the wingspan to prevent droplets from entering the wingtip vortices. The difference in temperature between the wet and dry bulb thermometers, of a whirling hygrometer, should not exceed 8 C. Stop spraying if the wind speed exceeds 15 km/h. Stop spraying under turbulent, unstable and dry conditions during the heat of the day. Spraying under temperature inversion conditions (spraying in or above the inversion layer) and / or high humidity conditions (relative humidity 80 % and above) may lead to the following: - reduced efficacy due to suspension and evaporation of small droplets in the air (inadequate coverage). - damage to other sensitive crops and/or non-target areas through drifting of the suspended spray cloud away from the target field. Ensure that the Aerial Spray Operator knows exactly which fields to spray. Obtain an assurance from the Aerial Spray Operator that the above requirements will be met and that relevant data will be compiled in a logbook and kept for future reference. 5 Fungicide COMPATIBILITY: is compatible with Folicur 250 EW (Reg. No. L3857), Decis Forte (Reg. No L6563), Flint Max (Reg No. L8827), Luna Experience (Reg No. L 9436), Luna Privilege (Reg No. L8997), Movento (Reg No. L8559), Scala (Reg No. L4972), Teldor 500 SC (Reg No. L6250). The compatibility with aforementioned products may be influenced by the quality of the dilution water. A physical compatibility test should always be carried out before spraying. Tank mixtures of with any other product than mentioned above, are not recommended. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Half fill spray tank with water, pour the required quantity of into the tank whilst agitating and top up with water to the required volume. Do not allow the spray mixture to stand any length of time before using. CROP / DISEASE DOSAGE RATE REMARKS POTATOES AND TOMATOES Late blight (Phytophthora infestans) GROUND APPLICATION: 450 g/100 water AERIAL APPLICATION: (potatoes only): 2,7 kg/ha in 30 to 40 water/ha Apply as an early preventive, high volume spray in a minimum of 500 water/ha (2,25 kg/ha). Ensure thorough coverage of the plants. Initially apply 2-3 sprays of consecutively early in the growing season during conditions favourable for late blight development. Apply in a tank mixture with a registered early blight fungicide (e.g. Folicur 250 EW) before or during the first signs of early blight (normally from flowering stage onwards). After an initial 2-3 sprays of with or without an early blight fungicide, applications may be alternated every 7-10 days in a spray programme with a fungicide registered against early and/or late blight depending on conditions and disease control. Do not apply more than 6 times per season. If more than six applications are needed per season, apply other registered fungicides e.g. Milraz 76 WP (Reg. No. L2879). NOTE: 1. High Volume (HV) Application: Spray to just before the point of run-off ensuring even coverage. Depending on leaf area, apply mixture/ha. Refer to table below. WINE AND TABLE GRAPES Downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) HIGH VOLUME APPLICATION: 120 g/100 water (Table grapes: g/ha; Wine grapes: g/ha. Refer to Note 1.) Apply at 10 cm shoot length or when conditions are favourable for the development of downy mildew or at very first signs of infection (oil spots visible). Repeat after days. Do not apply more than 4 times per season. If more than 4 applications are needed per season, apply other registered fungicides e.g. Milraz 76 WP (Reg. No. L2879).
