Do not apply BUDBREAK to correct delayed foliation when unfavourable weather conditions will cause poor ripening of the wood. Do not apply BUDBREAK to correct delayed foliation on trees under stress caused by water logging or drought conditions. Do not spray during windy conditions. Although BUDBREAK is intended for use in a mixture with water, please take note that contamination of BUDBREAK with even small amounts of water DURING STORAGE, will adversely affect its mixing properties at time of use. In the case of bulk storage ensure that the bulk transport tanks are thoroughly cleaned of all foreign material (e.g. rust flakes and dust etc.) and dried of all water residues before BUDBREAK is pumped into them. The openings of storage vessels must have good tight fitting lids to prevent dust and especially rainwater from entering them. Will damage cover crops, e.g. lupins. Do not add lime sulphur to BUDBREAK. Mix only products that are compatible with BUDBREAK. Kindly refer to Compatibility. Do not use if free oil appears on the surface of the spray mixture during preparation. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Store in a cool place, out of direct sunlight under lock and key and away from food and feeds. ALTHOUGH THIS REMEDY HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY TESTED UNDER A LARGE VARIETY OF CONDITIONS, THE REGISTRATION HOLDER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE EFFICACIOUS UNDER ALL CONDITIONS BECAUSE THE ACTION AND EFFECT THEREOF MAY BE AFFECTED BY FACTORS SUCH AS ABNORMAL SOIL, CLIMATIC AND STORAGE CONDITIONS, QUALITY OF DILUTION WATER, COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER SUBSTANCES NOT INDICATED ON THE LABEL AS WELL AS BY THE METHOD, TIME AND ACCURACY OF APPLICATION. CONSULT THE SUPPLIER IN THE EVENT OF ANY UNCERTAINTY. PRECAUTIONS: Wash contaminated clothing daily. Wash with soap and water after use and accidental skin contact. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst mixing or applying, or before washing hands and face and changing clothes. Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils. Avoid spray drift onto other crops, grazing, rivers, dams or areas not under treatment. Clean applicator thoroughly before re-using and dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate crops, grazing, rivers, dams or other areas not under treatment. When empty, invert the container over the spray tank or mixing tank and allow it to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to at least one tenth of that of the container and add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank. Destroy the container by puncturing and burying or burning it. Do not use the container for any other purpose.

3 DIRECTIONS FOR USE: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED COMPATIBILITY: 3 BUDBREAK and BUDBREAK + Dormex (tank mixture) can be mixed with prothiophos or chlorpyrifos at their respective registered dose rates. When BUDBREAK is used in conjunction with any other agricultural remedy, full cognisance must be taken of all WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS and DIRECTIONS FOR USE mentioned on that label. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: Half fill the spray tank with clean water. Add the required volume of BUDBREAK to the water in the tank while the contents of the tank is being agitated. Fill the spray tank with water to the desired volume, while stirring continuously to ensure complete mixing, before spraying is commenced. Maintain agitation during application. The prepared spray mixture should not be left in the spray tank for an indefinite period, e.g. overnight. GENERAL DIRECTIONS: Apply as a full cover spray at a pressure of to kpa. When using BUDBREAK in a tank mixture with Dormex, refer to the Dormex label for the list of cultivars on which this product has already been tested. APPLICATION TABLE: CROP USE DOSAGE APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS APPLES Delayed foliation Do not spray earlier than 20 August or later than the commencement of bud movement. For best results, spray as late as possible up to bud-swell. In general, apples must be sprayed at the beginning of September. 4 l / 6 l / or 2 l to 3 l BUDBREAK ml Dormex / CHERRIES Delayed foliation 8-10 l / (use a minimum of 800 l water/ha) PEARS Delayed foliation 4 l / 5 l / or 2 l to 3 l BUDBREAK ml Dormex / PLUMS Delayed foliation 3-4 l / 2 l BUDBREAK ml to 500 ml Dormex / Use this rate on all non-bearing trees and apple varieties with low to medium chilling requirements. This rate must also be used on sensitive varieties (such as Fuji and Red apple varieties). Use this rate on full-bearing trees and apple varieties with high chilling requirements (such as Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Royal Gala). Use this rate on full-bearing trees and apple varieties with very high chilling requirements (such as Golden Delicious, Granny Smith and Royal Gala) and when severe delayed foliation can be expected. Apply 4 5 weeks before normal budding. Use this rate days prior to the expected flowering date. Use the lower rate on cherry varieties with a low chilling requirement. Use this rate on all non-bearing trees and pear varieties with low chilling requirements. Use this rate on full-bearing trees and pear varieties with medium to high chilling requirements. Use this rate on full-bearing trees and pear varieties with very high chilling requirements (such as Bon Chretien) and when severe delayed foliation can be expected. Apply 4 5 weeks before normal budding. Use this rate on full-bearing trees and plum varieties with low to medium chilling requirements. Use this rate on full-bearing trees and plum varieties with medium to high chilling requirements (such as Simka). Apply 4 5 weeks before normal budding. Moenie BUDBREAK teen vertraagde toedien, wanneer ongunstige weerstoestande swak rypword van die hout tot gevolg sal hê nie. Moenie BUDBREAK teen vertraagde toedien wanneer vrugtebome onder stremming (bv. versuiping of droogtestremming) verkeer nie. Moenie BUDBREAK gedurende winderige toestande spuit nie. BUDBREAK word met water gemeng wanneer dit toegedien word, maar indien BUDBREAK TYDENS OPBERGING met selfs n klein hoeveelheid water gekontamineer word, kan die uiteindelike mengbaarheid daarvan ernstig en nadelig beïnvloed word. Verseker dat massavervoer en opbergingstenks deeglik skoon en vry is van enige ongewensde stowwe (bv. roes, stof en skilfers) en dat die tenks heeltemal droog is voordat BUDBREAK daarin gepomp word. Om te verseker dat stof en veral reënwater nie in die opgaartenks kom nie, moet die inlaatopeninge dig kan sluit. Sal dekgewasse soos lupiene beskadig. Moenie kalkswael of enige ander spuitmateriaal by BUDBREAK voeg nie. Voeg alleenlik middels wat met BUDBREAK mengbaar is by, (Verwys na Verenigbaarheid ). Moenie gebruik, wanneer vry-olie op die oppervlak van die mengsel sigbaar is, tydens verdunning nie. Berg buite bereik van kinders, oningeligte persone en diere. Berg in n koel plek en nie in direkte sonlig nie, agter slot en grendel, weg van voedsel en voer. 5 VOORSORGMAATREËLS; 5 Was besoedelde klere daagliks. Was met water en seep na gebruik en toevallige velkontak. Moenie eet, drink of rook tydens vermenging of toediening of voordat die hande en gesig gewas en skoon klere aangetrek is nie. Verhoed besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei. Verhoed die oorwaai van sproeinewel na ander gewasse, weiding, riviere, damme of ander gebiede wat nie behandel moet word nie. Maak toedieningsapparaat skoon voor her-gebruik en doen weg met waswater waar dit nie gewasse, weiding, riviere en damme sal besoedel nie. Sodra die houer leeg is keer dit om oor die spuittenk of mengbak en dreineer vir minstens 30 sekondes nadat die vloei tot 'n gedrup verminder het. Spoel die houer daarna driekeer uit met n volume water gelyk aan minstens n tiende van die houer en gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk. Vernietig die houer deur gate daarin te maak en te begrawe of te verbrand. Moenie die houer vir enige ander doel gebruik nie. GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS: GEBRUIK SLEGS SOOS AANGEDUI VERENIGBAARHEID: BUDBREAK en BUDBREAK + Dormex (tenkmengsel) kan met protiofos of chlorpirifos teen die geregistreerde dosisse van daardie middels gemeng word. Indien BUDBREAK in kombinasie met enige ander landboumiddel gebruik word, moet uitvoering gegee word aan alle WAARSKUWINGS, VOORSORGMAATREËLS en GEBRUIKSAANWYSINGS, soos aangedui op daardie etiket. MENGINSTRUKSIES: Maak die spuittenk halfvol met skoon water. Voeg die benodigde hoeveelheid BUDBREAK by die water in die spuittenk terwyl die inhoud van die spuittenk geroer word. Vul die spuittenk met water tot by die verlangde vlak, terwyl daar voortdurend geroer word om deeglike vermenging te verseker alvorens daar met toediening begin word. Handhaaf roering gedurende toediening. Aangemaakte spuitmengsels moenie in die spuittenk gelaat word vir n onbepaalde tyd, bv. oornag, nie. ALGEMENE AANWYSINGS: Spuit bome deeglik nat teen n druk van tot kpa. Wanneer BUDBREAK in n tenkmengsel met Dormex gebruik word, verwys na die Dormex etiket vir die lys van kultivars waarop hierdie produk reeds getoets is. TOEDIENINGSTABEL: GEWAS GEBRUIK DOSIS TOEDIENINGSVOORSKRIFTE APPELS Vertraagde Moenie toedien vóór 20 Augustus nie of ná die ogies begin swel het nie. Vir die beste resultate dien toe so ná as moontlik aan die swelstadium van die ogies. As algemene riglyn moet appelbome aan die begin van September bespuit word. 4 l / Gebruik hierdie verdunning op alle nie-draende bome en appelvariëteite wat n lae tot medium kouebehoefte het. Hierdie verdunning moet ook gebruik word op gevoelige variëteite (soos Fuji- en die Rooi-appelvariëteite). 6 l / of appelvariëteite wat n hoë kouebehoefte het (soos Golden Delicious, Granny Smith en Royal Gala). 2 l tot 3 l BUDBREAK ml Dormex / appelvariëteite wat n baie hoë kouebehoefte het (soos Golden Delicious, Granny Smith en Royal Gala) en wanneer erg vertraagde verwag word. Dien 4 5 weke vóór normale toe.

6 KERSIES Vertraagde 8-10 l / (gebruik n minimum van 800 l water/ha) Gebruik hierdie verdunning dae vóór die verwagte blomdatum. Gebruik die laer dosis op kersievariëteite wat n lae kouebehoefte het. 6 PERE Vertraagde 4 l / Gebruik hierdie verdunning op alle nie-draende bome en peervariëteite wat n lae kouebehoefte het. 5 l / of peervariëteite wat n medium tot hoë kouebehoefte het. 2 l tot 3 l BUDBREAK ml Dormex / peervariëteite wat n baie hoë kouebehoefte het (soos Bon Chretien) en wanneer erg vertraagde verwag word. Dien 4 5 weke voor normale toe. PRUIME Vertraagde 3-4 l / of Gebruik hierdie verdunning op alle nie-draende bome en pruimvariëteite wat n lae tot medium kouebehoefte het. 2 l BUDBREAK ml tot 500 ml Dormex / 100 l water pruimvariëteite wat n medium tot hoë kouebehoefte het (soos Simka) en wanneer erg vertraagde verwag word.
