CONSULT THE SUPPLIER IN THE EVENT OF ANY UNCERTAINTY. PRECAUTIONS: Do not inhale spray mist. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and face shield when handling concentrate. Wash with soap and water after use. Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst mixing or applying or before washing hands and face and changing clothes. Keep container closed when not in use. Prevent contamination of food, feeds, drinking water and eating utensils. Prevent spray drift onto other crops, grazing, rivers, dams and other areas not under treatment. Clean applicator thoroughly after use and dispose of wash water where it will not contaminate crops, grazing, rivers and dams. When empty, invert the container over the spray tank or mixing tank and allow it to drain for at least 30 seconds after the flow has slowed down to a drip. Thereafter rinse the container three times with a volume of water equal to at least one tenth of that of the container and add the rinsings to the contents of the spray tank. Destroy the container by flattening, burying or burning it. Do not use the container for any other purpose.

3 RESISTANCE WARNING: CONQUEST is a group codes N and K R3 Rherbicide. Any weed population may contain individuals naturally resistant to CONQUEST and other group codes N and K R3 Rherbicide. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds may not be controlled by CONQUEST or any other group code N and K R3R herbicide. To delay herbicide resistance: Avoid exclusive repeated use of herbicide from the same herbicide group code. Alternate or tank mix with products from different herbicide group codes. Integrate the control methods (chemical, cultural, biological) into weed control programmes. For specific information on resistance management contact the registration holder of this product. USE RESTRICTIONS: CONQUEST should only be used if soil conditions are suitable for fast germination of the crop. Do not use on seed maize before consulting your seed supplier. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: USE ONLY AS DIRECTED CONQUEST is a herbicide, which must be incorporated into the soil just before planting and thoroughly mixed with the uppermost 10 to 15 cm soil layer before planting takes place, or it should be injected into the soil at planting time with a suitable implement. Incorporation should take place within minutes after application, and preferably in one operation, especially if the soil surface is moist. Soil preparation: The seedbed must be well prepared and free from clods, trash and weeds. All growing weeds, especially nutsedges, must be destroyed before application. Method of application: Band application: Use an applicator, which will apply the CONQUEST in the recommended manner. Calibrate carefully under the actual field conditions before use. Check application rates during application. Overall application: For overall weed control, apply CONQUEST as an overall spray to a well prepared seedbed free of growing weeds. Ensure that the herbicide is thoroughly mixed within minutes with the top 10 to 15 cm of soil. Application and incorporation should preferably be done in one operation. Incorporation may be achieved by using a tandem disc or offset disc to cut to a depth of at least 15 cm operated at a speed of 8 to 10 km/h to ensure thorough mixing and to prevent lines, followed by a reversed spike tooth harrow or some leveling device, which extends beyond the ends of the disc. For thorough mixing cross disc as soon as possible. Prior to the second disking, adjust the disc to prevent cutting deeper than the first disking. Apply the recommended quantity of CONQUEST in 200 to 450 l of water per ha.

These weeds will be controlled only if the correct dosage rate has been used and if conditions for control are good i.e. well prepared and fine seedbed followed by favourable soil conditions which benefit seed germination. 6 VOORSORGMAATREËLS: Vermy inaseming van sproeinewel. Dra geskikte beskermende klere, handskoene en gesigskerm wanneer konsentraat hanteer word. Was met seep en water na gebruik. Moenie eet, rook of drink tydens vermenging of toediening of voordat hande en gesig gewas en skoon klere aangetrek is nie. Verhoed besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei. Verhoed die wegdrywing van sproeinewel na ander gewasse, weidings, riviere, damme of ander gebiede wat nie behandel word nie. Maak toedieningsapparaat skoon na gebruik en doen weg met waswater waar dit nie gewasse, weiding, riviere en damme sal besoedel nie. Sodra die houer leeg is keer dit om oor die spuittenk of mengbak en dreineer vir minstens 30 sekondes nadat die vloei tot 'n gedrup verminder het. Spoel die houer daarna driekeer uit met n volume water gelyk aan minstens n tiende van die houer en gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk. Vernietig die houer deur plat te druk en te begrawe of te verbrand. Moenie die houer vir enige ander doel gebruik nie. WEERSTANDSWAARSKUWING: CONQUEST is 'n groepkodes N en K R3R onkruiddoder. Enige populasie van 'n spesifieke onkruid mag individue insluit wat 'n natuurlike weerstand teen CONQUEST of enige ander groepkodes N en K R3 Ronkruiddoder het. Indien hierdie onkruiddoder herhaaldelik aangewend word, kan die weerstandbiedende individue uiteindelik die onkruidpopulasie oorheers. Hierdie weerstandbiedende onkruide sal waarskynlik nie deur CONQUEST of enige ander groepkodes N en K R3R onkruiddoder beheer word nie. Om weerstand teen onkruiddoders te vertraag: Vermy die eksklusiewe herhaaldelike gebruik van onkruiddoders met dieselfde groepkode. Wissel af met, of gebruik tenkmengsels van produkte in verskillende onkruiddodergroepkodes. Integreer ander beheermaatreëls (chemies, verbouing, biologies) in onkruidbeheerprogramme. Vir spesifieke inligting oor weerstandsbestuur kontak die registrasiehouer van hierdie produk. GEBRUIKSBEP ERKINGS: CONQUEST behoort net gebruik te word, wanneer die grondtoestande gunstig is vir vinnige ontkieming van die gewas. Moenie gebruik op saadmielies, voordat die saadverskaffer geraadpleeg is nie. GEBRUIKSAANW YSINGS: GEBRUIK SLEGS SOOS AANGEDUI CONQUEST is 'n onkruiddoder wat net vóór planttyd in die grond ingewerk en deeglik met die boonste 10 tot 15 cm grondlaag vermeng moet word, of dit moet tydens planttyd met 'n geskikte implement in die grond ingespuit word. Inwerking moet binne minute na toediening geskied, verkieslik onmiddellik, veral as die grondoppervlak klam is. Voorbereiding van grond: Die saadbed moet goed voorberei wees en vry van kluite, plantreste en onkruide. Alle lewende onkruide, veral uintjies, moet vóór toediening vernietig word.

7 Metode van toediening: Strooktoediening: Gebruik slegs 'n toediener wat CONQUEST volgens die aanbevole wyse toedien. Kalibreer noukeurig onder werklike toestande op die land voordat dit aangewend word. Kontroleer toedieningshoeveelhede gedurende toediening. Algehele toediening: Vir algehele onkruidbeheer, dien CONQUEST toe as 'n algehele bespuiting op 'n goed voorbereide saadbed, vry van groeiende onkruide. Verseker dat die onkruiddoder deeglik vermeng word in die boonste 10 tot 15 cm grond binne minute na toediening. Toediening en inwerking moet verkieslik terseldertyd gedoen word. Inwerking kan d.m.v. 'n tandemskotteleg of wisselgangskotteleg gedoen word tot op 'n diepte van minstens 15 cm teen 'n spoed van 8 tot 10 km/uur sodat deeglike vermening plaasvind om strepe te voorkom, gevolg deur 'n omgekeerde eg of enige tipe sleepyster wat breër sleep as die disc wydte. Vir deeglike vermenging herhaal oorkruis so gou moontlik. Voor die tweede bewerking verstel die skotteleg om te voorkom dat dit dieper sny as die eerste keer. Dien die aanbevole hoeveelheid CONQUEST in 200 tot 450 l water per ha toe. TOEDIENINGSTABEL: Gewas/Grondtipe Dosis/ha Opmerkings UMielies 0 tot 10% klei 3-4 l Gebruik die laer dosis Algehele toediening: Daar kan onmiddellik gesaai word na toediening, verkieslik so gou moontlik om die maksimum tydperk van onkruidbeheer te tydens nat, koue verkry. Indien dit noodsaaklik is om na toediening en inwerking toestande. te skoffel, moet die grond nie dieper as die diepte, waarop die 11 tot 20% klei l 21 tot 30% klei l onkruiddoder ingewerk is, bewerk word nie.
