9 Front Beach Road CRA On November 30, 2000, the City created the Panama City Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and declared the City Council as the governing body of the Agency. On June 21, 2001 the City adopted a resolution and created the Front Beach Road Community Redevelopment Area (CRA).

11 CRA Program Objectives Program focuses on transportation projects Improve mobility along Front Beach Road and the connector roads Create a walkable community with extensive sidewalks, bike paths, enhanced streetscapes and people friendly areas Provide better beach access and increased public parking Encourage Private/Public Partnerships Develop programs to encourage economic development and revitalization
12 CRA Redevelopment Plan The CRA Redevelopment Plan provides a framework for redevelopment of approximately 19.8 miles of existing Roadways. The Plan recommends enhancement such as streets widening, roadway lighting, turn lanes, landscaped medians, new signage, hardscape/landscape, sidewalks, stormwater ponds/parks and undergrounding all utilities.
