4 . Precations concerning working enironment and conditions. Working enironment and working conditions This eqipment, based on the assmption that it is sed in the polltion degree 2 (Note ) enironment. If it is sed in other degree of contamination, please do the protection on the deice side to be incorporated. Measrement categories for measring circit for this eqipment is CATⅢ (Note ). The oeroltage category of the axiliary power spply circit (MA, MB) is CATⅢ (Note ).Do not se the nit in any of the following places. Doing so may case malfnction or redction in serice life. Place where the ambient temperatre exceeds the working temperatre range( 5 C to 55 C) Place where the hmidity exceeds the hmidity range (30% to 85%RH) or condensation occrs Place with mch dst, corrosie gas, salt or oily smoke Place where the nit may be exposed to rain or drops of water Place where metallic particles or indctie sbstances are dispersed Place where the daily mean temperatre exceeds 35 C Place with mch ibration or impact Place exposed to direct snlight Place with strong electromagnetic field or mch foreign noise Place where the altitde is oer 2000m < For preention of electric shock > This nit is designed to be hosed within another deice for preention of electric shock. Hose this nit within the deice sch as the gronded control panel before se. To preent persons with little knowledge abot electric eqipment from electric shock, panel mst be taken either following measre. ock the panel so that only those who get an edcation abot electric eqipment and hae sfficient knowledge can nlock, or sht off power spply atomatically by opening the panel. Coer the dangeros part of this nit. (Reqired protection code is higher than IX.) Note :For the definition of the polltion degree and the oer oltage category, refer to EN600/ Preparation before sing An installation place shold keep the working enironment and working conditions. The protection sheet for the crack preention is pt on the display part. Before se this prodct, remoe the protection sheet. It is not nsal, althogh a CD display part may light p by generating of static electricity in case it remoes. After a while, it disappears by natral electric discharge. Following setp is need before sing EM4D65. The one always in one system is the Master set, other display nit of, please to Slae configration. (The wrong setting and it does not work).3 Installation and connection Before installing and connecting the nit, read the instrction manal withot fail. Cation For safety, the nit shall be installed and connected by experts in electrical work. When threading and wiring, take tmost care that cttings and wire pieces do not enter the nit. Connect the wires careflly checking the wiring diagram. Improper wiring can case nit failre, fire and electric shock. Perform wiring work in a dead state. Do not wire the nit in a lie state. Doing so can case electric shock, grond falt, nit failre and fire..4 Precations for se F/W ersion is after the power trned on. Please set again after power recoery. Cation Do not disassemble or modify this nit. It may case failre, malfnction, injry or fire. se this nit within the ratings specified in this manal. If it is sed otside the ratings, it may case not only malfnction or failre bt also fire brnot. Do not toch the lie part. It may case electric shock, electric brn injry or damage of the deice. If any bare wire exists, stop the operation immediately, and take an appropriate action sch as isolation protection. 3

5 .5 Maintenance Precations se a soft dry cloth to clean off dirt of the nit srface. Do not let a chemical cloth remain on the srface for an extended period of time nor wipe the srface with thinner or benzene. Check for the following items to se this nit properly for long time. () Daily maintenance No damage on this nit 2 No abnormality with CD indicators 3 No abnormal noise, smell, or heat (2) Periodical maintenance (Once eery 6 months to year) No looseness with installation and wire connection. Do periodical maintenance nder the electric otage condition. Failre to do so may case Cation electric shock, failre of the nit or a fire. Tighten the terminal reglarly to preent a fire..6 Storage Precations To store this nit, trn off the power and remoe wires, and pt it in a plastic bag. For longtime storage, aoid the following places. Failre to follow the instrction may case a failre and redced life of the nit. Places the Ambient temperatre exceeds the range 0 60 C. Places the Relatie hmidity exceeds the range 3085% or places with dewfall. Dst, corrosie gas, saline and oil smoke exist. Places the aerage daily temperatre exceeds 35 C..7 Disposal Precations When disposing of this nit, treat it as indstrial waste..8 Abot packaging materials and this manal For redction of enironment load, packaging materials are prodced with cardboard, and this manal is printed on recycled paper. 2.
