Chteu provides growers with n extremely effetive lterntive mode of tion (MOA) heriide for use in heriide resistne mngement strtegies. Assess the ground under your trees or vines ouple of months efore plnned Chteu pplition nd immeditely prior to pplition. > Remove lrge or dense vegettion with suitle knokdown heriide efore pplying Chteu. Allow suffiient time for these weeds to die down efore pplying Chteu. > An effetive knokdown heriide should e tnk mixed with Chteu if there re smll weeds present t pplition. > Dense trsh, mulh or prunings must e removed prior to Chteu pplition to enle good even soil overge. Chteu should e pplied to moist soil nd requires t lest 15mm rinfll or irrigtion within 3 weeks of pplition to fully tivte the heriide. > Sprinkler irrigtion my e used to pre-moisten nd or tivte the heriide. Avoid soil disturne fter pplition s this will disrupt the treted zone nd llow weeds to emerge through unproteted soil. Apply to n even nd under the trees or vines. Residues nd withholding periods No detetle residues hve een found in produe hrvested from Chteu treted rops. No Chteu residues were deteted in folige smpled from grpevines prior to lef pluking y sheep. Chteu ws deteted t very low levels in surviving weeds in Chteu treted res. Dust from the surrounding re soil ontting folige on or very ner the soil surfe is the likely use. However, the proportion of weeds in grzing diet is very low nd provided grzing WHP s re followed residues will not e deteted in niml produts. Chteu WHPs: Do not pply fter the strt of flowering. Grzing orhrds: Do not grze orhrds efore 2 months fter pplition. Grzing vineyrds (inluding lef pluking): Sheep tht hve een grzing or fed treted rops should e pled on len feed for 2 months prior to slughter.
