1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION AND USE SAUNA HEATER We wish you mny hours of relxtion nd plesure in your sun. Plese red the instructions eneth very crefully in order to find out how the sun works. ATTENTION: The sun heter must e connected to the power supply y qulified electricin nd in complince with current regultions. INSTALLATION OF THE HEATER For informtion out how to instll the heter, plese see pge. When mounting the heter, plese tke note of the following: - Follow the given instructions - Wood pnelling is the pproved mteril for wlls nd ceiling in the sun room. - Check tht the wll pnelling is secured where the screws will e fstened. - Only one sun unit my e instlled in sun room. - The heter must not e surrounded y compct heter gurd. Before instlling the heter, plese check the following: - Tht the following prts hve een delivered: heter, stones. - Tht the voltge of the heter is correct. - Tht the of the heter corresponds with the size (m ) of the sun room. See tle. - Tht the minimum construction distnces in fig. re strictly followed. MOUNTING THE SAUNA HEATER (See fig ) Drill the four screw holes using,5 mm drill it. The screw hed should e pprox. mm from the wll surfce.mke sure tht the screws re fstened through the sun room soft wood lining into cking ord to hold the heter. Hng the heter on the screws. Tighten the lower screws in order to lock the heter in position. Re-chech your distnces from the heter to comustile mterils to mke sure the stipulted minimum distnces re followed SKSM A

2 CHOOSING LEFT OR RIGHT CONTROLS The unit is supplied with timer nd thermostt instlled on the front side of the unit. If it is necessry to move the controls to the right or to the left, this should e done y qulified electricin when the heter is instlled (see fig. 4)..Turn the sun unit upside down, remove the ottom plte..remove the knos () for the thermostt () nd the timer () y pulling them stright out..remove the screws (6) holding the timer nd thermostt. 4.Remove the sectionl plte from the side of the unit. 5.Move the timer () nd the thermostt () to the side. The dil plte (5) is seprtely mounted using the thermostt nd timer mounting screws. 6.Press the knos into plce. 6 Fig VENTILATION To mke the sun th s plesnt nd helthy s possile, the sun room must e correctly ventilted. Incoming ir should, if possile, e led in through vent immeditely under the sun unit. This vent should e t lest 60mm in dimeter. The exhust ir should, if possile, e led out from the opposite wll, preferly s fr s possile from the incoming ir vent. The exhus ir vent should e twice the size of the incoming ir vent, nd plced out 600mm higher thn the fresh ir inlet ventiltor. Fresh ir ø60mm

3 MAIN CONNECTION The cle used must e t lest ruer coted HO7RN-F type. Also other cles coming from the heter (such s those for the signl lmp, locking circuit for other heting pplinces) should e of corresponding type nd hve similr cross-section s the ove mentioned. - Remove the ottom prt. () - Connect the heter. - Mount the ottom prt. - Mount the screws () ck. TEMPERATURE CONTROL The thermostt control is set to the desired temperture. The sun will rech the desired temperture in out 60 minutes, depending on the size nd the construction of the sun room. OVERHEATING PROTECTION If for ny reson the ir temperture exceeds cceptle limits, the overheting protection utomticlly cuts off the power supply. When the heter hs cooled down the power cn e on gin y pressing the reset utton. The reset utton is plced ner the thermostt kno nd it is reset y pushing screwdriver through the hole in the front of the unit. If the unit hs n onepiece ottom prt the prt must e removed first. Before pressing the reset utton, the possile cuse of overheting should e investigted. TIMER The timer, whi ch is the min power switch of the sun unit, utomticlly shuts off the unit t the desired time hour preselection timer setting: The timer llows etween nd 8 hours presetting, nd the mximum running time is lwys 4 hours. If you wnt to use the sun s soon s possile, the switch is set nywhere etween nd 4 hours, nd the unit is on. SAUNA STONES Sun stones my e dusty, we recommend tht they re rinsed efore eing plced in the rock comprtment. Put the lrger stones t the ottom. Do not pck stones tightly ut plce them to llow good ir circultion. To prevent dmge to the sun unit, the stones must e replced if they egin to flke.
