If the nswer is 24 Volt plese follow the instrutions elow. violet lk red/green red violet lk *For 16 Volt AC/DC opertions, mintin the solenoid wiring onfigured for 12 V. Be dvised tht with 16 Volt soure, the Model 5200 is ple of 10% Intermittent Duty Cyle (e.g. On for 2 seonds followed y Off for 20 seonds) with n On time not to exeed 2 minutes ontinuous. 16 Volt AC/DC Cple (10% Intermittent Duty Cyle) Cut the purple nd lk wires. Insert violet nd lk wires oming from the strike into one lue wire onnetor, rimp with pliers. Crimp one lue wire onnetor on eh lk nd violet wire oming from the onnetor to prevent short iruit. violet lk Instller Hint When djusting the srews for field seletility, vetern instllers suggest dding drop of Lotite to the srews efore tightening them into their finl position for dded durility. Step 6 Do you use Stndrd, LBM, or LBSM? If the nswer is stndrd ontinue to step 7. If the nswer is LBM follow the instrutions under step 6. If the nswer is LBSM follow the instrutions under step 6. Step 6 Wht is LBM? LBSM LBM LBM LBM stnds for Lth Bolt Monitoring. Step 7 Wht is fil seure? All HES strikes ome stndrd s fil seure. (s shown) Fil seure mens if the strike loses power it remins loked. If you need to onvert the strike to fil seure Step 7 Wht is fil sfe? Fil sfe mens if the strike loses power it remins unloked. If you need to onvert the strike to fil sfe Loosen srews, ut do not remove them. Loosen srews, ut do not remove them. Move srews into fil seure position. Tighten sews. Move srews into fil sfe position. Tighten sews. Instller Hint When using the trim enhner you will need to mke the utout slightly lrger thn the tul dimensions given for the strike. This will llow spe for the trim enhner. Step 8 How do I tth the feplte? Step 9 Do you wnt to use trim enhner? K-NUT Ple feplte on eletri strike ody. Atth the feplte to eletri strike ody using the feplte srews provided with the feplte option kit. The srews will desend down into the strike ody nd thred through the k-nuts within the housing. The trim enhner llows the instller to over up rough or inorret sized frme ut. If the nswer is no ontinue to step 10. If the nswer is yes plese follow the instrutions elow. Tke the trim enhner nd ple it on the strike. Tighten the trim enhner srews to seure the trim enhner in ple. 7 8 An ASSA ABLOY Group ompny

6 Rising the Stndrds Step 10 Wht re the finl steps? Instller Hint If inding etween the ltholt nd keeper ours you my need to horizontlly djust the eletri strike. Step 11 Do you need to mke horizontl djustments? If the nswer is no you re finished with the instlltion proess. If the nswer is yes plese follow the instrutions elow. K-NUT Connet the eletri strike to the pigtil. Insert strike into frme. Tighten oth mounting srews seurely. Slowly turn the horizontl djustment srews to djust the strike in-frme. Do not remove the srews or ompletely rotte them more thn 3 full turns. One the strike hs een djusted, seurely tighten the srews. This will llow the K-nut s teeth to dig into the strike housing to prevent slippge during use An ASSA ABLOY Group ompny
