5 YOU NEED TO: Slowly open dishwsher door while someone grsps the rer of the dishwsher. Remove the drin hose nd lower rck. Close dishwsher door until ltched. Instll this dishwsher s specified in these instructions. Instlltion should be performed by qulified service technicin. The dishwsher must be instlled to meet ll electricl nd plumbing ntionl nd locl codes nd ordinnces. The dishwsher must be instlled to llow for future removl from the enclosure if service is required. INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS TOOLS AND PARTS Gther the required tools nd prts before strting instlltion. 7 LOCATION REQUIREMENTS IMPORTANT: Do not run drin lines, wter lines or electricl wiring where they cn interfere with or contct dishwsher motors or legs. The loction where the dishwsher will be instlled must provide clernce between motors nd flooring. Motors should not touch the floor. The opening must hve level floor. (If floor t front of opening is not level with floor t rer of opening, shims my be needed to level dishwsher). Do not instll dishwsher over crpeted flooring. The dishwsher must be fully enclosed on the top, sides nd bck nd must not support ny prt of the enclosure. The dishwsher must be instlled so tht the drin hose is no more thn 10 ft in length for proper dringe. OPENING DIMENSIONS The rough cbinet opening must be t lest 24 (61 cm) deep nd mximum of 35 (88.9 cm) in height, nd provide esy ccess to wter, electricity nd drin. Corner loctions require 2 (5.1 cm) minimum clernce between the side of the dishwsher door nd the wll or cbinet " to 35" (86.4 cm to 88.9 cm)** 6" (15.2 cm) 3" (7.6 cm) 18" (45.7 cm) 3" (7.6 cm) 1¾" (4.4 cm) 24" (61.0 cm) 3" (7.6 cm) * Mke sure wter line, wires nd drin hose re within the shded re. ** Min. to Mx. distnce from the underside of countertop to floor. 9 Rer View 25⁹ ₁₆" (65 cm) DRAIN REQUIREMENTS Use the new drin hose supplied with your dishwsher. If this is not long enough, use new drin hose with mximum length of 10 ft (3.05 m) tht meets ll current AHAM/IAPMO test stndrds, is resistnt to het nd detergent, use 5/8"(1.58 cm) or 7/8"(2.2 cm) inside dimeter (I.D.) hose nd coupler to connect the two hose ends. Secure the connection with two clmps. Dishwsher must be connected to wste line with n ir gp (not supplied) or 32"(81.3 cm) minimum high drin loop, depending on locl codes nd ordinnces to prevent bckflow into the dishwsher. IMPORTANT: Filure to provide the proper drin connection height with ir gp or 32" (81.3 cm) minimum high drin loop will result in improper drining of the dishwsher. An ir gp must be used if the wste tee or grbge disposl connection is less thn 18" (45.7 cm) bove the floor to void bckflow. Air Gp Use 1/2" minimum I.D. drin line fittings. Do not connect drin lines from other devices to the dishwsher drin hose. 7

10 WATER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS The pressure of the wter coming from the hot wter supply line must be psi ( kp). The supply line my enter either from the right or left side, the rer or the floor within the shded re. The wter connection is locted on the left front side of the dishwsher. Instll the hot wter inlet line, using 3/8" min. copper tubing wter line. Route the line s shown nd extend it forwrd t lest 18" (45.7 cm) from the rer wll. Adjust the wter heter to wter temperture of 120 F to 150 F (49 C to 65.5 C). 8

11 ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS WARNING Electricl Shock Hzrd Instlltion nd service must be performed by qulified instller or service gency. Alwys disconnect the power before servicing this unit. This pplince must be properly grounded. Filure to do so could result in deth, fire, or electricl shock. IMPORTANT: The dishwsher must be supplied with 120 volt, 60 Hz, AC-only, 15 or 20 mp., fused electricl supply. Wiring must be 2-wire with ground. If the electricl supply does not meet the bove requirements, cll licensed, qulified electricin before proceeding. Contct qulified electricin. Be sure tht the electricl connection nd wire size re dequte nd in conformnce with the Ntionl Electricl Code, ANSI/ NFPA No. 70-ltest edition nd ll locl codes nd ordinnces. A copy of the bove code stndrds cn be obtined from the website or: Ntionl Fire Protection Assocition One Btterymrch Prk Quincy, MA Grounding Instructions: The dishwsher must be connected to grounded metl, permnent wiring system, or n equipment grounding conductor must be run with the circuit conductors nd be connected to the equipment grounding terminl or led on the dishwsher. 9

12 WIRE ROUTING AND CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS Cbinet Preprtion nd Wire Routing Electricl connection is on the right front side of the dishwsher. NOTE: Wiring the dishwsher will be esier if you route wire into the cbinet opening from the right side. The wiring my enter either from the right or left side, the rer or the floor within the shded re. Wiring connections my pss through the sme hole s the drin hose nd hot wter line or cut n dditionl 11/2" (3.8 cm) di. hole to dmit the electricl cble. NOTE: The hole must be free of shrp edges. If the cbinet wll is metl, the edge of the hole must be covered with bushing/grommet. Electricl Connection to Dishwsher Electricl connection is on the right front of dishwsher. Terminl Box For direct wire connections the cble must be routed s shown in the following grphic. Cble must extend minimum of 24" (61 cm) from the rer wll. For power cord connections, hve qulified electricin instll 3 prong grounding type receptcle. 13 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1- CHECK DOOR BALANCE With nother person holding the dishwsher to prevent it from tipping, open the door slowly. If the door drops when relesed, increse the spring tension. If the door closes when relesed, decrese the spring tension. To djust the spring tension: 1. Pull the spring djustment pin out of the holes. Insert the pin into the next highest or lowest hole. 2. Move the spring djustment pins to the sme holes on both the left-hnd nd right-hnd sides. 3. Retest the door, nd continue moving the spring djustment pin until the door is blnced. Increse Decrese 11

14 STEP 2- ADJUST LEVELING LEGS 1. Mesure the dishwsher height nd the height of the opening from the underside of countertop to floor where dishwsher will be instlled (you need the lowest point). 2. Extend the leveling legs out from the dishwsher bse 1/4" (6 mm) less thn the height of the opening. Adjust to Instlltion Height STEP 3- REMOVE KICK PLATE 1. Using screwdriver, remove the screws ttching the kick plte to the cbinet. 2. Lift off the kick plte. 2 Kick Plte Screws 12

15 STEP 4- INSTALL 90 ELBOW WARNING Excessive Weight Hzrd Use two or more people to move nd instll dishwsher. Filure to do so cn result in bck or other injury. 1. Using two or more people stnd the dishwsher upright, nd position it in front of the opening. 2. Wrp the 90 elbow with thred sel tpe, nd then instll it onto the wter vlve. NOTE: To void dmge to the wter vlve brcket nd/or fitting, do not over tighten the elbow. 3. Position the end of the elbow to fce the bottom right of the dishwsher. STEP 5A- PREPARE CABINET OPENING USING EXISTING UTILITY HOOKUPS Follow the steps in this section if you re instlling the dishwsher in n existing cbinet opening with utility hookups. If you re instlling the dishwsher in cbinet opening tht does not hve hookups, follow the instructions under Prepre Cbinet Opening Where there re No Existing Utility Hookups in Step 5B. 1. Check tht the wter line reches to the front left of opening where the wter connection will be mde. 2. Check tht the direct wire reches to the front right of opening where the electricl connection will be mde. If the wter line nd the direct wire rech fr enough into the opening, proceed to the next section Instll the drin hose. If they do not rech fr enough, follow the instructions under Prepre Cbinet Opening Where there re No Existing Utility Hookups in Step 5B. wter line 6" (15.2 cm) direct wire 13

16 INSTALL THE DRAIN HOSE IMPORTANT: Alwys use new drin hose when instlling new replcement dishwsher. Keep the drin hose wy from the floor nd the edge of the hole where it psses through the cbinet to minimize the noise cused by vibrtion when using the dishwsher. 1. Connect drin hose to wste tee or grbge disposl using one of the following methods. Option 1 Grbge Disposl - With Air Gp Option 2 No Grbge Disposl- With Air Gp Option 3 Grbge Disposl - No Air Gp* Option 4 No Grbge Disposl - No Air Gp* *n ir gp is recommended Option 1 (Grbge Disposl - With Air Gp): 1. Remove the grbge disposl knockout plug. Cut end of drin hose if needed (do not cut ribbed section). 2. Attch drin hose to ir gp with screw-type clmp. If the drin hose ws cut, use 11/2" to 2" (3.8 to 5 cm) screw-type clmp*. 3. Use rubber hose connector* with spring or screw type clmps* to connect ir gp to grbge disposl inlet. If the drin hose ws cut, use 11/2" to 2" (3.8 to 5 cm) screw-type clmp*. 3. Use rubber hose connector* with spring or screw type clmps* to connect ir gp to grbge disposl inlet. Use rubber hose connector* with screw-type clmps* to connect grbge disposl inlet. This connection must be before the drin trp nd t lest 20" (50.8 cm) bove the floor where dishwsher will be instlled. 18 Option 4 (No Grbge Disposl - No Air Gp): 1. Cut end of drin hose if needed (do not cut ribbed section). 2. Attch drin hose to wste tee with 11/2" to 2 (3.8 to 5 cm) screw-type clmp*. This connection must be before the drin trp nd t lest 20" (50.8 cm) bove the floor where dishwsher will be instlled. It is recommended tht the drin hose be looped up nd securely fstened to the underside of the counter. Filure to do so cn result in deth or electricl shock. Method 1 - Direct Wire 1. Drill 3/4" (1.9 cm) hole into the right-hnd cbinet, or the right-hnd side of the bck or floor of the opening. See following grphic for preferred nd optionl loctions. 16

Remove shrp or rough edges by smoothing or covering the edges of the hole tht the wiring psses through. Wood Cbinet - Snd edge of hole until smooth. Metl Cbinet - Cover edge of hole with grommet (not provided). 3. Route cble from power supply through cbinet hole (cble must extend to the right, front side of cbinet opening). Extend cble to 6 in front of unit nd tpe to floor. This will prohibit cble from moving when dishwsher is moved into cbinet opening. Method 2 - Power Supply Cord IMPORTANT: A mting 3 prong, ground-type wll receptcle is required in cbinet next to the dishwsher opening. 1. Drill 11/2" (3.8 cm) hole in the cbinet rer or side. Preferred nd Optionl loctions re shown in the following grphic. 2. Smooth edges of hole for power cord. Wood Cbinet - Snd edges of hole until smooth. Metl Cbinet - Cover edges of hole with grommet included with power supply cord kit (not provided). b Preferred Loctions b Optionl Loctions 17

20 INSTALL THE WATERLINE NOTE: Routing the wter line through the left side of cbinet opening will mke wter connection esier. 1. Drill 1/2" (1.3 cm) hole in the cbinet side, rer or floor. Preferred nd optionl loctions re shown in the following grphic. 2. Mesure to determine the overll length of copper tubing required for the wter line. 3. Attch copper tubing to the mnul shutoff vlve. b Preferred Loctions b Optionl Loctions 4. Slowly feed copper tubing through hole in cbinet. Copper tubing will bend nd kink esily, so be gentle. The copper tubing should be fr enough into the cbinet opening to connect it to the dishwsher inlet on the front left of the dishwsher. Copper Tubing 5. Slowly turn wter shutoff vlve to ON position. Flush wter into shllow pn to get rid of prticles tht my clog the inlet vlve. 6. Turn shutoff vlve to OFF position. INSTALL THE DRAIN HOSE IMPORTANT: Alwys use new drin hose. 1. Drill 11/2" (3.8 cm) hole in cbinet wll or floor on the side of the opening closest to the sink. 18

See STEP 5A Instll the Drin Hose for instructions to connect the drin hose to wste tee or grbge disposl using one of the following options: Option 1 - Grbge Disposl - With Air Gp Option 2 - No Grbge Disposl - With Air Gp Option 3 - Grbge Disposl - No Air Gp* Option 4 - No Grbge Disposl - No Air Gp* *n ir gp is recommended STEP 6- POSITION THE WATER LINE AND HOUSE WIRING WARNING Electricl Shock Hzrd Disconnect electricl power t the fuse box or circuit breker box before instlling dishwsher. Filure to do so cn result in deth or electricl shock. 1. Confirm power is turned off t the source. 2. Turn off wter supply. 4" (10.2 cm) b 6" (15.2 cm) Copper Supply Line b House Wiring 3. Plce the wter supply line nd the house wiring on floor of the opening to void interference with the bse of the dishwsher nd the components under the dishwsher. 4. Tpe the wire to the floor 6" (15.2 cm) in front of unit. This will keep the wire from moving when the dishwsher is moved into cbinet opening. 19

22 STEP 7 INSERT DRAIN HOSE THROUGH CABINET WARNING Excessive Weight Hzrd Use two or more people to move nd instll dishwsher. Filure to do so cn result in bck or other injury. 1. Using two or more people, stnd the dishwsher upright. 2. Grsp the sides of the dishwsher t the edges of the door pnel, nd plce the dishwsher in front of the opening. 3. 23 STEP 8 SLIDE DISHWASHER PARTIALLY INTO OPENING WARNING Tip Over Hzrd Do not use dishwsher until completely instlled. Do not push down on open door. Filure to follow these instructions cn result in serious injury or cuts. 1. Slide dishwsher into the opening few inches t time. NOTE: Do not push ginst the front of the pnel or on the console they will dent. 2. Position power supply. If dishwsher hs power supply cord, insert power supply cord into the hole cut into the cbinet. If using direct-wire connection, check tht the wiring is on the right front side of opening. 3. Slowly move dishwsher completely into cbinet opening. As you proceed, pull the drin hose through the opening under the sink. Stop pushing when the dishwsher is few inches forwrd of the djcent cbinetry. 4. Mke sure the drin hose is not kinked under the dishwsher nd there is no interference with the wter line nd wiring or ny other component. 21

24 STEP 9 POSITION DISHWASHER UNDER COUNTERTOP 1. Push dishwsher completely into the opening so tht the front corners of the dishwsher door re flush with the cbinet doors. NOTE: It is ll right if the dishwsher fits tightly into cbinet opening. Do not remove insultion blnket the blnket reduces the sound trvel. Reposition dishwsher by grsping both sides with hnds. STEP 10 - LEVEL THE DISHWASHER Do not push ginst front door pnel with knee. Dmge to the door pnel will occur. IMPORTANT: Dishwsher must be level for proper dish rck opertion nd wsh performnce. 1. Align front of dishwsher door pnel with cbinet doors. You my need to djust lignment to be even with your cbinets. NOTE: Prop up one side of frme to hold dishwsher up off floor when djusting front legs. With some instlltions, it my be esier to djust the front leg using 6" djustble wrench. 2. Check tht the leveling legs re firmly ginst the door. 3. Close nd ltch the door, nd plce level ginst the front pnel. Check tht dishwsher is plumb. If needed, djust leveling leg or dd shims until dishwsher is plumb. NOTE: Shims must be securely ttched to floor to prevent their movement when the dishwsher is operted. 4. Repet for other side of dishwsher. 22

25 5. Plce level on door nd rck trck inside the tub s shown. Check tht dishwsher is level from side to side, nd from bck to front. If the dishwsher is not level, djust front legs up or down until dishwsher is level. Level Front to Bck b Level Side to Side b NOTE: Pull lower rck out bout hlfwy. If the rck rolls forwrd or bck into the dishwsher, the dishwsher must be leveled gin. STEP 11 - CONNECT POWER SUPPLY Use the power supply connection method specific to your model. Method 1 - Direct Wire WARNING Electricl Shock Hzrd Electriclly ground dishwsher. Connect ground wire to green ground connector in terminl box. Do not use n extension cord. Filure to follow these instructions cn result in deth, fire, or electricl shock. IMPORTANT: Contct qulified electricin. Be sure tht the electricl connection nd wire size re dequte nd in conformnce with the Ntionl Electricl Code, ANSI/NFPA No. 70-ltest edition nd ll locl codes nd ordinnces. 1. Confirm tht power is turned off t the source. 23

26 2. Remove terminl box cover. Retin for lter use. 3. Instll UL listed/csa pproved strin relief. 4. Route direct wire so tht it does not touch dishwsher motor or lower prt of dishwsher tub. 5. Pull direct wire through strin relief in terminl box. Strin Relief 6. Connect the wires s follows using UL listed wire nuts of the pproprite size to connect direct wire to 16-guge dishwsher wire. Power supply wire: white blck ground wire Terminl box wire: white blck ground connector NOTES: Use UL listed wire nuts of the pproprite size to connect your household wiring to 16-guge dishwsher wiring. Insert wire ends into twist on connector. Do not pre-twist bre wire. Twist connector. Gently tug on wires to be sure both wires re secured. b c Ground b White c Blck 7. Tighten strin relief screws to secure cord. 8. Reinstll terminl box cover with wires inside terminl box. 9. Mke sure wires re not pinched by cover. 24

27 Method 2 - Power Supply Cord WARNING Electricl Shock Hzrd Plug into grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove the ground prong from the power cord plug. Do not use n dpter. Do not use n extension cord. Filure to do so cn result in deth, fire or electricl shock. IMPORTANT: The power cord nd connections must comply with the Ntionl Electricl Code, Section 422 nd/or locl codes nd ordinnces. Recommended cord length is 54" min. nd 64" mx. 1. Confirm tht power is turned off t the source. 2. Remove terminl box cover. Retin for lter use. 3. Instll UL listed/csa pproved strin relief. 4. Route power cord so tht it does not touch dishwsher motor or lower prt of dishwsher tub. 5. Pull power cord through strin relief in terminl box. Strin Relief 6. Connect the wires s follows using UL listed wire nuts of the pproprite size to connect power cord to 16-guge dishwsher wire. Power supply wire: white blck ground wire Terminl box wire: white blck ground connector 25

28 NOTES: Use UL listed wire nuts of the pproprite size to connect the power cord to 16-guge dishwsher wiring. Insert wire ends into twist on connector. Do not pre-twist bre wire. Twist connector. Gently tug on wires to be sure both wires re secured. b c Ground b White c Blck 7. Tighten strin relief screws to secure cord. 8. Reinstll terminl box cover with wires inside terminl box. 9. Mke sure wires re not pinched by cover. STEP 12 - CONNECT TO WATER SUPPLY Compression fittings: Slide nut onto copper tubing bout 1" (2.5 cm). Slide ferrule onto the tubing. Do not position ferrule on the end of the tubing. Put the tubing into the elbow s fr s it will go. Slide the nut nd ferrule forwrd nd strt the nut onto the elbow threds. Be gentle when hndling nd positioning the copper tubing, it bends nd kinks esily. b Elbow b Compression Nut 1. Route the wter supply line so tht it does not touch the dishwsher bse, frme, or motor to minimize the noise cused by vibrtion when using the dishwsher. 26

29 2. With copper tubing pushed into compression fitting s fr s it will go, use wrench nd tighten compression fitting nut to elbow on wter inlet vlve. Do not use thred sel tpe with compression fittings. 3. Plce pper towel under elbow. Turn on wter supply nd check for leks. STEP 13 - CONNECT TO DRAIN 1. Route the drin hose to void contct with motor, door springs, wter line, cbinet, flooring or the edge of the hole where it psses through the cbinet to minimize the noise cused by vibrtion when using the dishwsher. 2. Do not remove drin loop from side of dishwsher. 3. Plce pn under end of drin hose. Pn will collect wter in drin hose. Drin Hose 4. The drin hose molded end will fit 5/8" (1.6 cm), 3/4" (1.9 cm) or 1" (2.5 cm) dimeter connections on the ir gp, wste tee or disposl. Cut on the mrked line s required for your instlltion. 1" 3/4" 5/8" Cutting Lines 3 1 /4 5 /8 (2.5 cm) (1.9 cm) (1.6 cm) 5. Use 5/8" or 7/8" inside dimeter hose nd coupler to connect the two hose ends. Secure the connection with hose clmps. 6. Secure the drin hose to the ir gp, wste tee or grbge disposl with clmps. 27

30 NOTE: Totl drin hose length must not exceed 10 ft (3.05 m), for proper drin opertion. b STEP 14 - SECURE DISHWASHER Hose Clmp b Coupler Depending on the mteril of your countertop, use either instructions to Instll to Countertop or Instll to Adjcent Cbinets to secure your dishwsher. Instll to Countertop The dishwsher must be secured to the countertop using the two mounting clips on top of the dishwsher. 1. Insert the mounting clips into the front, top slots of the dishwsher. NOTE: The top mounting clips hve brek off point, so section of the clip cn be removed, if necessry, to fit the depth of the cbinet. c b Mounting Clips b Brek Off Point c Tub Flnge 2. Open the dishwsher door nd remove lower dish rck. 3. Plce towel over the pump ssembly nd spry rm of dishwsher to keep screws from flling into pump re during instlltion. 4. Check tht the dishwsher is level nd centered side to side in the opening. 5. Check tht the tub flnge ligns with the front fce of the cbinet frme. 6. Using two Phillips screws (provided), fsten the two mounting clips on the top of the dishwsher to the underside of the countertop. NOTE: The dishwsher must be ttched to the countertop to keep it from tipping when the door is opened. #8 x 5/8" Phillips Flt-Hed Screw 28

31 7. Open the door bout 3" (7.6 cm) nd check tht the spce between the inner door nd tub is equl on both sides. 8. If spcing is not equl, loosen the mounting clip screws nd shift the tub. Retighten brcket screws. 9. Check tht the top of the door does not contct the screws, mounting clips or countertop. If it does, the dishwsher must be lowered nd leveled gin. See Level The Dishwsher. 10. If spcing is not equl, loosen the brcket screws nd shift the tub. Retighten the brcket screws. 11. Remove towel from dishwsher. 12. Reinstll the lower dish rck. Instll to Adjcent Cbinets When countertops re grnite or other mterils tht will not ccept screws, secure dishwsher with side mounting brckets. 1. Insert the mounting clips into the side slot of the dishwsher. 2. Open the dishwsher door, nd then use flt-blde screwdriver or prying tool to remove hole covers (one on ech side). 3. Instll screws through the dishwsher side mount brcket nd into the djcent cbinet on ech side. Reinstll the hole covers. bc c b Grnite Countertop b Screw c Hole Cover 4. Close dishwsher door nd verify tht gp between countertop nd top of dishwsher door is t lest 1/2". 1 /2 (1.3 cm) Countertop b Dishwsher Door b 29

32 STEP 15 - PRE-TEST CHECKLIST 1. Check tht the power is OFF. 2. Open dishwsher nd remove ll fom nd pper pckging. 3. Locte User Mnul in the literture pckge. 4. Red User Mnul for operting instructions. 5. Check door opening nd closing. If door does not open nd close freely or tends to fll, check spring djustments. See Check Door Blnce. 6. Check tht wiring is secure under the dishwsher, not pinched or in contct with door springs or other components. See Position the Wter Line nd House Wiring. 7. Check door lignment with tub. If door hits tub, level dishwsher. See Level the Dishwsher. 8. Check tht the lower rck neither rolls forwrd nor bck into the dishwsher when pulled out bout hlf wy. If it does, djust leveling legs. See Level the Dishwsher. 9. Check door lignment with cbinet. If door hits cbinet, reposition or level the dishwsher. See Level the Dishwsher. 10. Verify tht the wter supply nd drin lines re not kinked or in contct with other components. 11. Turn on the sink hot wter fucet nd verify wter temperture. Incoming wter temperture must be between 120 F nd 150 F (49 C nd 65 C). A minimum of 120 F (49 C) temperture is required for best wsh performnce. 12. Add 2 qurts (1.9 L) of wter to the bottom of the dishwsher to lubricte the pump sel. 13. Turn on wter supply. Check for leks. Tighten connections if needed. 14. Remove protective film, if present, from the control pnel nd door. 30

33 STEP 16 - TEST DISHWASHER 1. Connect to power supply. DIRECT WIRE METHOD: WARNING Electriclly ground dishwsher. Electricl Shock Hzrd Connect ground wire to green ground connector in terminl box. Do not use n extension cord. Filure to follow these instructions cn result in deth, fire, or electricl shock. Turn on power t source. POWER SUPPLY CORD METHOD: WARNING Electricl Shock Hzrd Plug into grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove the ground prong from the power cord plug. Do not use n dpter. Do not use n extension cord. Filure to do so cn result in deth, fire or electricl shock. Plug into grounded 3 prong outlet. Mke sure the power cord does not touch the dishwsher motor or the lower prt of the dishwsher tub. 2. Close door nd turn on dishwsher. 31

34 3. Select Rinse Only cycle; nd press START/CANCEL. 4. After the first 2 minutes, unltch door, wit 5 seconds, nd then open door. Check to see tht there is wter in the bottom of the dishwsher tub. Check tht dishwsher is working properly. 5. Check for leks under the dishwsher. If lek is found, turn power supply off, then tighten connections. Restore power fter lek is corrected. 6. Check for leks round the door. A lek round the door could be cused by door rubbing or hitting ginst djcent cbinetry. Reposition the dishwsher, if necessry. 7. When the dishwsher is drining, check the drin lines. If leks re found, turn power off t the breker nd correct plumbing s necessry. Restore power fter corrections re mde. 8. Open dishwsher door nd mke sure most of the wter hs drined. If not, check tht disposl plug hs been removed nd/or ir gp is not plugged. Also check drin line for kinking. 9. Run the dishwsher through nother Rinse Only cycle nd drin. STEP 17 REPLACE THE KICK PLATE 1. Plce the kick plte ginst the kick plte brcket. The slots should lign with the kick plte brcket screw holes. Allow the bottom edge of the lower kick plte to touch the floor. 2. Fsten with the two kick plte screws. 32
