5 Instlltion Instructions 4 Mintennce Over time, the sensing element my ecome covered in dust. The dust cn e removed using compressed ir. Under no circumstnces should wter or clensing gents e used on the sensing elements. It is recommended tht the ccurcy of the sensor is verified every 12 months. If the sensor flls outside the quoted ccurcy, replce the filter nd reclirte s shown elow. The clirtion chmer nd clirtion liquids will need to e purchsed from specilist clirtion equipment supplier. 1 Remove Sensor Assemly from Rdition Shield in two positions 2 Remove Cover Cution: This unit contins sttic sensitive devices. Suitle nti-sttic precutions should e tken throughout the opertion to prevent dmge to the units. Difference etween the two points should e >30%RH Low Humidity Clirtion 1. Remove lid from the clirtion chmer nd clen chmer thoroughly. 2. Insert one of the cloths provided with the clirting liquid. Pour clirting liquid (35%RH) onto the fric. Refit lid nd screw tightly. 3. Insert proe into sensor perture of chmer nd tighten collr to provide ir tight sel round the proe. Wit 30 min. 4. Press Down pushutton for 3 s to strt. LED will illuminte. 5. Press Up or Down pushutton to djust mesured vlue in 0.1% steps. 6. Either: Press Up pushutton for 3 s to stop. Clirted vlue is stored. LED is extinguished. Or: Press Down pushutton for 3 s to exit clirtion without storing vlue. LED is extinguished. High Humidity clirtion 7. Remove lid from the clirtion chmer nd clen chmer thoroughly. 8. Insert one of the cloths provided with the clirting liquid. Pour clirting liquid (80%RH) onto the fric. Refit lid nd screw tightly. 9. Insert proe into sensor perture of chmer nd tighten collr to provide ir tight sel round the proe. Wit 30 min. 10. Press Up pushutton for 3 s to strt. LED will illuminte. 11. Press Up or Down pushutton to djust mesured vlue in 0.1% steps 12. Either: Press Up pushutton for 3 s to stop. Clirted vlue is stored. LED is extinguished. Or: Press Down pushutton for 3 s to exit clirtion without storing vlue. LED is extinguished. 7 One Point Clirtion For clirtion over limited rnge out single point This clirtion gives decresed ccurcy over reminder of working rnge Single Point Humidity Clirtion 1. Remove lid from the clirtion chmer nd clen chmer thoroughly. 2. Insert one of the cloths provided with the clirting liquid. Pour clirting liquid (35%RH or 80%RH) onto the fric. Refit lid nd screw tightly. 3. Insert proe into sensor perture of chmer nd tighten collr to provide ir tight sel round the proe. Wit 30 min. 4. Either: (If chmer humidity >50%RH.) Press Up pushutto for 3 s to strt. LED will illuminte. Or: (If chmer humidity <50%RH.) Press Down pushutton for 3 s to strt. LED will illuminte. 5. Press Up or Down pushutton to djust mesured vlue in 0.1% steps 6. Either: Press Up pushutton for 3 s to stop. Clirted vlue is stored. LED is extinguished.
