When strting the fire control pnel ensure tht unstble conditions cnnot rise. Ensure tht ll points listed in the 'Testing the product operbility' section below re observed. You my only set controls to norml function when the product operbility hs been completely tested nd the system hs been hnded over to the customer. Testing the product operbility Prevent the remote trnsmission from triggering erroneously. If testing building instlltions or ctivting devices from third-prty compnies, you must collborte with the people ppointed. The ctivtion of fire control instlltions for test purposes must not cuse injury to nyone or dmge to the building instlltions. The following instructions must be observed: Use the correct potentil for ctivtion; this is generlly the potentil of the building instlltion. Only check controls up to the interfce (rely with blocking option). Mke sure tht only the controls to be tested re ctivted. Inform people before testing the lrm devices nd llow for possible pnic responses. Inform people bout ny noise or mist which my be produced. Before testing the remote trnsmission, inform the corresponding lrm nd fult signl receiving sttions. Guidelines of the Siemens CERT Security Mesure Pln for Android Devices The internl Android encryption function must be ctivted on your smrtphone or mobile terminl. The following requirements must be met with regrd to the encryption pssword used: At lest eight chrcters At lest one upper-cse letter At lest one lower-cse letter At lest one specil chrcter or numerl Configure the dt storge spce for your pps so tht pp dt cn only be plced inside the encrypted internl memory of the device or on encrypted memory crds. 15 Function 3 3 Function Overview 'Sinteso Test' is instlled on mobile terminl for exmple, smrtphone nd used longside detector exchnger nd tester FDUD292 nd Bluetooth extension kit FDUD29x-E. Testing n ssignment in the detection tree With Bluetooth extension kit FDUD29x-E instlled, detector exchnger nd tester FDUD292 sends the 'Seril no. ("ID-Nr.")' of n instlled peripherl device to 'Sinteso Test'. 'Sinteso Test' displys the dt ssigned to the 'Seril no. ("ID-Nr.")' in the detection tree. The peripherl device is then mrked s hving been tested in 'Sinteso Test'. Assigning nd testing peripherl devices The 'One-step commissioning' function on the control pnel nd the 'Sinteso Test' pp re used to ssign peripherl devices to the detection tree nd mrk them s hving been tested. To do this, the peripherl devices must lredy hve been instlled, commissioned, nd red in on the control pnel. The MC link nd 'Onestep commissioning' mode must be ctivted on the control pnel for the corresponding detector line. 'Sinteso Test' is comptible with Sinteso fire control pnels with firmwre nd BDV versions from MP 3 or higher

17 Instlltion 5 5 Instlltion To instll 'Sinteso Test', proceed s follows: Register with AirWtch Instll nd configure the AirWtch MDM Agent on your mobile terminl Instll 'Sinteso Test' on your mobile terminl Prerequisites You hve compny smrtphone or tblet tht is subject to Siemens IT guidelines. You hve Siemens ccount with PKI or configured OTP settings Register with AirWtch You will find more informtion on smrt pp ccess nd AirWtch on the following intrnet site: 1. Open intrnet pge 2. Enter your Siemens e-mil ddress in the login window nd click 'Next'. 3. In the next login window, enter your Siemens e-mil ddress nd the pssword for your Siemens ccount. Then, click 'Login'. You re now registered with AirWtch. 4. Add your device by clicking on 'Add Device'. 5. Register your device s follows: Enter nme for your device. Select the 'Android' pltform. Select the owner of the device. Select 'Emil' s the notifiction type. Enter your Siemens emil ddress. You will receive n emil with more informtion on instlling the 'AirWtch MDM Agent' pp. Instll nd configure the AirWtch MDM Agent on your device 1. Follow the instructions provided in the emil on instlling the 'AirWtch MDM Agent' pp. 2. Once instlled, open the 'AirWtch MDM Agent' pp on your device nd follow the registrtion nd configurtion instructions within the pp. 3. Once the 'AirWtch MDM Agent' pp is fully configured, the 'App Ctlog' pp will be instlled on your device. Instll 'Sinteso Test' 1. Open 'App Ctlog' on your device. 2. Select the 'Sinteso Test' pp nd instll it. The required uthoriztions re displyed. 3. To ccept the uthoriztions nd instll 'Sinteso Test', press 'Instll'. 'Sinteso Test' is instlled. 22 7 Commissioning Loding the site dt 7 Commissioning Prerequisites The Bluetooth extension kit FDUD29x-E is instlled in the detector exchnger nd tester. You will find more informtion on instlling the Bluetooth extension kit in document A6V Firmwre version 3.1 or higher is instlled on the detector exchnger nd tester. You will find more informtion on updting the firmwre in documents nd 'Sinteso Test' is instlled on the mobile terminl. You will find more informtion on this in chpter 'Instlltion [ 17]'. Commissioning 1. Lod the site dt. Link [ 22] 2. Connect the mobile terminl to the detector exchnger nd tester. Link [ 25] 3. Optionl: Adpt the settings. Link [ 26] See lso 2 Applicble documents [ 7] 7.1 Loding the site dt Exporting site dt s n XML file The site dt is exported from SintesoWorks s n XML file. A correct style sheet is needed to perform this export. Checking the version of the 'SpeedTesting_x.x.x.xsl' style sheet w SintesoWorks FXS2002 version from MP5.2 or higher is instlled on the PC. 1. In the menu, click on 'Help' > 'View dditionl documents'. The 'Additionl_Documents' folder is shown in the File Explorer. 2. Enter the word 'SpeedTesting' in the 'Serch' text field nd press the <ENTER key>. The serch results re shown in the File Explorer. 3. Check whether the 'SpeedTesting_x.x.x.xsl' style sheet hs version 8 or higher. You cn tell if the version is correct from the file designtion (e.g., SpeedTesting_0.0.8.xsl) or in the XSL file, e.g., line <SiteExport exporterversion="0.0.8" mdversion="0.0.3">. If the 'SpeedTesting_x.x.x.xsl' style sheet hs version 7 or lower, contct your locl or regionl compny. If the 'SpeedTesting_x.x.x.xsl' style sheet hs version 8 or higher, you cn export the site dt

23 Commissioning Loding the site dt 7 Exporting site dt s n XML file w w w SintesoWorks FXS2002 version from MP5.2 or higher is instlled on the PC. The configurtion for system with firmwre version MP3 or higher is loded in SintesoWorks. You will find more informtion in document There is 'SpeedTesting_x.x.x.xsl' style sheet with version 8 or higher sved on the computer. 1. Open Site using the 'File' > 'New site' or 'Open' menu item. 2. Click on the 'File' > 'Site export (XML)' menu item. The 'Reports' window is opened with the setting 'Site XML export'. 3. On the 'Sttions' tb, select the sttions for which you wish to generte n XML export. The mximum number of 'Sttions' tht cn be loded is limited. If the configurtion of the Site exceeds the limit, you must ctivte / dectivte one or more 'Sttions' for the export. 4. Select the 'Output settings' tb. 5. Check the 'Crete XSLT bsed export' checkbox. 6. Select 'Use file from file system'

The configurtion for the 'Site' is exported s n XML file tht is comptible with 'Sinteso Test' Loding the XML file onto the mobile terminl w A 'Sinteso Test' folder hs been creted on the internl memory crd. 1. Connect the mobile terminl to the PC using USB cble. 2. Copy the XML file contining the site dt into the 'Sinteso Test' folder (2) in the min directory of the internl memory crd (1). The XML file is stored on the mobile terminl. Check whether the link hs been estblished correctly nd, if necessry, increse the distnce between the detectors. Prerequisites The peripherl devices hve been instlled, commissioned, nd red in. 29 Opertion 'One-step commissioning' 8 Performing 'one-step commissioning' 1. Activte the MC link: At the 'Sttion', select the 'Sttion', module, or line element in the 'Hrdwre tree'. Select 'Execute Commnds' > 'Enble MC link'. 2. Activte OSC mode: At the 'Sttion', select the 'Sttion', module, or line element in the 'Hrdwre tree'. Select 'Execute Commnds' > 'Enble one-step commissioning'. 3. In the detection tree in 'Sinteso Test', select 'Zone' or logicl chnnel to be ssigned. 4. Press nd hold down the element tht is to be ssigned until the 'Assign' symbol ppers. 5. Select the 'Assign' symbol. The ssignment strts. 6. 'Sinteso Test' wits for confirmtion from the detector exchnger nd tester. 7. Connect the detector exchnger nd tester to the device to be ssigned: Mnul cll points: Hold the detector exchnger nd tester t the front of the device. Other detectors: Hold the detector exchnger nd tester ginst the detector nd rotte the detector exchnger nd tester until the detector snps in. 8. Hold the detector exchnger nd tester ginst the device for mximum of 10 s. While commnds re being trnsmitted, the red, yellow, nd green LEDs on the detector exchnger nd tester flsh lterntely. The green LED on the detector exchnger nd tester lights up continuously to indicte successful ssignment. 30 9 Remedying problems 'One-step commissioning' 9 Remedying problems Problem The 'SpeedTesting.xslt' style sheet cnnot be found when exporting the XML file from SintesoWorks. The connection to the Bluetooth extension kit is not reestblished when you open 'Sinteso Test'. The mobile terminl displys the following messge on opening the detiled view: 'Your device does not hve the necessry softwre instlled to red in the selected lnguge. Do you wnt to instll it from the ply store?'. The text in the detiled view is too lrge. The voice output is difficult to understnd. Strings of cpitl letters re spelled out individully rther thn red s word. The Bluetooth extension kit symbol is not displyed. Solution Select 'Help' > 'View dditionl documents' in SintesoWorks. Enter the pth listed here into the Export dilog. Switch Bluetooth off nd on gin on the mobile terminl. Switch mobile terminl off nd on gin. Test the chrge stte of the bttery for the detector exchnger nd tester nd insert new one if necessry. Instll file contining the lnguge dt for the 'Textto-Speech output' function for your mobile terminl. Reduce the text size in the system settings for the mobile terminl. Reduce the speed of the voice output in the system settings for the mobile terminl. Dectivte the 'Spell ll-cpitl words' checkbox under 'Sound volume' in the Settings view. Check whether the Bluetooth extension kit is switched on nd, if necessry, perform commnd '8.2 Enble'. Switch the service device off nd on gin.
