163 System description Control Dmper control Dmper control ctutes fire dmpers nd/or smoke dmpers vi input/output modules on the FDnet. Exmple of fire dmper control A fire dmper control corresponds to the ventiltion zone. Fire dmper control could be ctivted by fire lrm, for exmple. In the event of fire lrm, the open fire dmpers re closed. Exmple of smoke dmper control Smoke dmper control could be ctivted by n input, for exmple. If the input is ctivted by the fire brigde, the smoke dmpers re opened. Communiction with Desigo PX sub-system FS20 uses BACnet objects of the 'Binry Vlue' nd 'Multi-Stte Vlue' types to communicte with the Desigo PX sub-system so tht the fns cn be controlled vi Desigo PX controllers. FS20 communictes the following events to the Desigo PX sub-system: Fire lrm combintions, so the Desigo PX controllers will switch off the fns in the event of fire: If configured to do so, FS20 sends 'Section summry' to the sub-systems over BACnet. The 'Section summry' shows fire lrm below the relevnt section in the subtree. The 'Section summry' is ctivted in the 'Globl behviour' element in Engineering Tool. See document Sttus of dmpers Operting the dmpers vi Desigo PX The Desigo PX sub-system trnsmits mnul commnds for opening or closing the dmpers to FS20 over BACnet. For exmple, the fire brigde cn open the dmpers mnully once the fire hs been extinguished in order to extrct the smoke. For this purpose, key switch cn be connected to Desigo PX. Mnul commnds from Desigo PX tke priority over the commnds of the utomtic dmper control. Configuring BACnet priorities The BACnet priorities for utomtic dmper controls nd for mnul dmper control vi n FS20 operting terminl re configured in the 'Globl behviour' element in Engineering Tool. See document FS20 monitors the connection to the Desigo PX sub-system so tht the fire dmpers will be closed if the connection is lost. EDE export The BACnet prmeters for dmper control nd for the fire lrm combintions cn be exported to n EDE file in Engineering Tool. The EDE file cn then be used in Desigo PX to configure the Desigo PX controller so tht BACnet communiction with the FS20 tkes plce correctly. You will find more informtion on performing n EDE export in document Fire Sfety
