11 Setting up devices Adding new devices (Optionl: Use it only if you hve extr devices outside the kit) All devices in the kit re linked to the Smrt Hu. If you wnt to dd more devices, you cn do this y using the Add new device section in the Smrt Living Home pp. Go to the pp menu Setting > Alrm Setting > Devices nd then press Add New Device utton 1 Enter Lern Mode 2 Lern in Devices Press the lern utton on the device you lent to dd then see digrms elow. The Smrt Hu will eep (single or multiple dependent on device) when new device is registered. You will then see your new device in your device List within the home pp. Lern/ Test utton Press & hold for 3 seconds Lern/Test utton One single press. Lern/Test utton One single press. 12 Bttery Power LAN Rnge Test Check Accessories Rnge 1.) Plce ech device in the loction where you wish to mount them. Before mounting ech device. Plese check the system with simple rnge test. Login to your Yle Home App. Select Tests, Device List then select Wlk Test. Hold the devices in the desired loction nd press the Test/Lern utton on the ccessories. (see pge 9) If the sensor signl reched the Smrt Hu, it will show in the device list on your pp. When you re hppy tht ll your devices cn communicte with the Smrt Hu, plese proceed to mounting the ccessories. Before you mount device use the device settings in the Smrt Living Home pp to ypss the device nd disle the tmper lert. After the device is fully in plce don t forget to disle the ypss. Smrt Hu 2.0 Mounting OR Lern <On Off> c Ø5mm The Smrt Hu cn e free stnding, either verticlly or horizontlly on flt surfce with ccess to mins socket nd rodnd internet router. It is lso suitle for wll mounting. Using the two holes on the mounting ck plte, mrk the position of the holes. Drill two holes nd fix with the screws nd plugs provided. Hook the Smrt Hu onto the plte. 12

20 Using the System Adding Alert Notifictions You cn dd/delete emil ddresses tht will e lerted when the lrm is triggered. You cn choose to hve ALL events (or Burglr only) reported vi emil. Hint: our report emil will use the emil ddress of: report@ylehomesystem.co.uk Sve this emil ddress s your VIP (Apple ios) or Priority (Android) emil nd ssign specil ringtone to it. 21 Defult Settings All devices (except SR-PC nd SR- PVC) re pre-set to entry mode. Key When the system is first rmed, users will hve 30 seconds to exit the uilding. If the system is lredy rmed, triggering ny sensors will cuse n entry countdown to egin. Burglr Home Omit Disrmed Prt-Armed Armed Sensor Ignored SR-PC/SR-PVC s defult setting is Burglr only, i.e. immedite triggering during full rm nd sleep during Prt Arm. This is done to conserve ttery life. Home Access Instnt Siren You cn chnge the device ehviour nd length of the entry timer within the home pp. Entry Triggers Countdown Supervision off s defult (recommended). Plese note tht hving supervision enled could reduce the ttey life of your devices. This feture should only e used y professionl instller to check for outge nd mlfunctions with your devices. Incorrect usge would led to supervision filure messge showing on the pp. With the exception of the PIR Imge Cmer, PIR Video Cmer nd Smoke Detector (these lwys hve supervision turned on), the other devices you will need to hve supervision mnully enled on the device if required. Supervision cn e enled vi Settings > System Settings > Generl Configurtion. Jmming nd interference detection (defult on). If jmming nd interference is of concern, plese enle vi Controller -> Pnel Setting 21

You cn lso mnully request these imges in the control section of the pp y pressing the imge icon next to the device in the contol list. Still imges tke n verge of 15 seconds efore showing on your phone. Click on imge to view imges. Note: Up to 50 imges cn e kept in the Yle Server (the oldest imges re utomticlly deleted to mke spce). 25 (GB) Tmper lrm - (IT) Allrme effr Adding & Using Devices Smoke Detector Smoke Detection When smoke is detected the device will ctivte for minimum of 10 seconds with two tone lrm nd flshing LED. Pressing the test utton when in n lrm condition will silence the lrm for 10 minutes. It will utomticlly resume smoke detection gin fter this period. Pir / Test utton Testing Smoke Detector testing should e done on regulr monthly sis. Pressing the test utton will mke the LED flsh, the udile sounder chime nd will send test signl to the Smrt Hu when the utton is relesed. If nothing hppens fter pressing the test utton, it indictes the tteries will need chnging (see SR-KF pge 16). 26 Chnging Btteries Alwys use the correct type of tteries s replcements ecuse ny other ttery type cn cuse prolems with the opertion of the system. Ensure the correct steps re tken when chnging tteries in tmper protected devices. Low Bttery Indictor The hu will strt to emit n intermittnt eep to indicte tht the tteries need chnging on one of your devices. The hu will continue to eep until the tteries on this device hve een replced, or low ttery device is put into ypss mode. Plese note tht ypss mode disles the device, nd if disled this device will no longer e triggered when the lrm is rmed. The App will lso disply low ttery messge under the relevnt device when tteries re running low. CHANGE BATTERY When device first shows the low ttery signl in the pp, it hs enough cpcity to operte for pprox 1 month efore complete exhustion. Check tht the Siren cover is firmly secured nd the tmper spring on the ck of the Siren is fully depressed when in contct with the wll. If not use suitle pcking mteril to fill the gp (refer to pge 9 for digrm). Siren produces n interrupted tone when sounding n lrm Low ttery wrning. Check your pp for ttery sttus.
