The difference etween 01 series nd 02 series is the durtion of the sfety time for the pilot urner of urners equipped with pilot gs vlves. For tmospheric urners of high cpcity, use the LFL1.638.

Fuel vlves tht re not closed, or not fully closed, immeditely initite lockout on completion of the fterurn time «t13». For this kind of supervision, the flme supervision circuit is designed such tht possile disturnces of the ioniztion current due to the ignition sprk normlly hve no impct on the estlishment of the flme signl. A short-circuit etween ioniztion proe nd urner ground cuses loss of the flme signl - With UV detector QRA... (gs nd oil urners) - Simultneous use of ioniztion proe nd UV detector QRA... (e.g. with interrupted pilot urners or gs-electriclly ignited oil urners) - If, on strtup, the required input signls re not present, the urner control interrupts the strtup sequence t the points mrked y symols nd initites lockout where required y sfety regultions. 16 Strtup sequence A t1 Strt commnd delivered y «R» «R» closes the strt control loop etween terminls 4 nd 5 - The sequence switch strts running - Only prepurging, power is immeditely fed to the fn motor connected to terminl 6 - Pre- nd postpurging; on completion of «t7», power is fed to the fn motor or flue gs fn connected to terminl 7 - On completion of «t16», the control commnd to open the ir dmper is delivered vi terminl 9 - o power is fed to terminl 8 during the positioning time - The sequence switch continues its trvel only fter the ir dmper hs fully opened Prepurge time with ir dmper fully open - During «t1», the correct functioning of the flme supervision circuit is tested - If test is not successful, the urner control will initite lockout Shortly fter the strt of «t1», the ir pressure switch must chnge over from terminl 13 to terminl 14. Otherwise lockout Strt of ir pressure check At the sme time, terminl 14 must e live since the ignition trnsformer will e powered nd the fuel relesed vi this current pth. On completion of the prepurge time, the urner control will drive the ir dmper to the low-fire position vi terminl 10, which is determined y the chngeover point of uxiliry switch «m». During the positioning time, the sequence switch stops gin. A short time lter, the motor of the sequence switch will e switched to the control section of the urner control. This mens tht, from now on, positioning signls delivered to terminl 8 hve no impct on the urner s further strtup sequence (nd on susequent urner opertion): t5 Intervl - On completion of «t5», power is fed to terminl 20; t the sme time, control outputs nd input 8 re glvniclly seprted from the unit s control section The LFL1... is now protected ginst return voltges from the power control loop - The strtup sequence of the LFL1 ends with the relese of t terminl 20 - After numer of idle steps (steps with no chnge of the contct position), the sequence switch switches itself off Direct sprk flme urners TSA t3 t4 Ignition sfety time On completion of «TSA», flme signl must e present t terminl 22. During urner off periods, the flme supervision circuit is live. A fulty flme signl of few seconds will initite lockout. Short ignition pulses of the UV tue, cused for instnce y cosmic rdition, do not led to lockout. Times «TSA», «t3» nd «t4» only exist with urner controls of the 01 series. 17/26

18 Control sequence under fult conditions nd lockout indiction In cse of ny fults, the fuel supply is lwys interrupted immeditely. In the event of ny kind of fult, the sequence switch will stop nd, with it, the lockout indictor. The symol ove the indictor s reding mrk gives the type of fult: o strt One of the contcts is not closed (lso refer to «Preconditions for urner strtup») Extrneous light Lockout during or fter completion of the control sequence.
