9 ooling energy recovery Summer night cooling 3 Exhust ir flow correction 1 In summer time, cooling energy is recovered to the room. In summer night time, when cooling is required, ventiltion intensity level is utomticlly switched to the third intensity level. Air is cooled only by outdoor ir, without het or coolness recovery nd dditionl ir cooling or heting. The user for the set time period cn djust exhust ir fn speed. These vlues will be mintined by utomticlly incresing or reducing the intensity of ventiltion. This function djusts the ir vo lume depending on the outdoor temperture. It is possible to enter four temperture points where two of them define winter conditions nd the other two define summer conditions. Upon entering the compenstion curve ccording to the outdoor temperture, the current intensity of ventiltion is decresed or incresed ccordingly. This function is intended for energy sving in summer: utilising the outside chill of night hours to cool down the heted rooms. The user my enble or disble function t ny time s well s set the room temperture t which the function is utomticlly ctivted. Override control of the unit cn be performed by n externl device (timer, switch, thermostt, etc.). The signl received from the outside ctivtes the function which switches the unit to the pre-progrmmed mode ignoring the current operting mode. This function forces the reduction of the supply nd extrct ir volumes set by the user when the heter cpcity vilble in the unit is insufficient nd/or het recovery does not ensure the supply of the minimum temperture to the room. An ir hndling unit cn be ordered with n ir humidity control function. If this function is vi lble the user is ble to choose the humidity control loction: supply ir, extrct ir or room. The user is lso ble to choose the method of control: humidifiction, dehumidifiction or both t time. oth heting nd cooling pumps re controlled ccording to the current need for heting or cooling insted of seson control. If it does not rech the required level fult is recorded nd indicted. Under the low outdoor temperture conditions, this function is constntly observing decresing tendency of the het exchn ger therml efficiency, determines the moment when the het exchnger strts freezing, nd ctivtes the defrosting function utomticlly. A wrning messge ppers when the continuous opertion of the AHU hs reched 12 months. This function ensures tht the rotry het exchnger does not pollute when turned-off. When the ir hndling unit opertes without het recovery, i.e. when the rotor does not rotte for some time, it is forcibly ctivted for little so tht moving ir flows could blow possible dust. This function forcibly ctivtes the rotry het exchnger if the ir hndling unit is turned off for some time nd the temperture inside the unit or ventiltion system is low enough for the rotor to freeze. This function strts wter circultion pumps for short period of time when they re off longer thn the set period. If the ir hndling unit does not rech the ir volume set within the time set, the user is wrned by n informtive messge. Shut-down function from externl device. My be used with or without n utomtic unit restrt. The externl fire lrm is provided when the unit is connec ted to the building fire lrm system. There is lso n internl fire lrm to detect n incresed temperture inside the ir hndling unit or the ventiltion system. Self-check function of controller nd elements of the ir hnd ling unit. If fult is detected, 5.1 termintes the opertion of the unit nd wrns bout such fult using the respective informtive messges. 9

XL type rotry must be evluted in the performnce grph: i.e. pressure drop of 50 p (dt from the pressure grph, point 2) must be dded to sttic pressure in point 1 to get performnce point of unit (300 m 3 /h). Unit with XL performnce hs prmeters in point 2 (sttic pressure 210 p for 300 m 3 /h, therml efficiency 85.5%). hecking for point 2 is it remins in its working zone. If the ir hndling unit voltge is ~230V; 50 Hz it is necessry to instll the socket with grounding of corresponding cpcity. If the voltge is ~400V; 50 Hz, the cble of electricl power supply is con-nected to the min switch, which is locted on the unit s outside wll.
