MODEL RV TYPE B GAS VENT LOCKTAB Our LOCKTAB feture ws developed in response to ustomer feedk onerning the use of sheet metl srews to seure GAS VENT setions. In mny res, the use of sheet metl srews is either ommonly epted prtie or lol requirement. The use of 1/4 sheet metl srews is expensive nd time-onsuming for instllers. The use of our new LOCKTAB feture gives instllers the option of engging this t insted of using sheet metl srews. The LOCKTAB does not ffet the funtionlity of our urrent RV Lok System. The deision to use (or not use) the LOCKTAB feture is optionl. To use the LOCKTAB feture: 1. Assemle RV GAS VENT setions in the usul mnner. 2. The LOCKTAB is then depressed with thum or lunt ojet suh s srewdriver into the lok hnnel of the mle end of the pipe. 3. To disengge the LOCKTAB, pry it up y using srewdriver or knife lde. We feel the urrent non-positionl lok system on SELKIRK RV GAS VENT is the est lok system on the mrket tody. The introdution of the LOCKTAB feture simply improves our urrent lok system y dding flexiility nd further meeting mrket needs. Loks together with snp, llowing you to engineer the perfet pplition.
