Do not operte your dishwsher unless ll enlosure pnels re properly in ple. Open the door very refully if the dishwsher is operting. There is risk of wter squirting out. Do not ple ny hevy objets of stnd on the door when it is open. The ppline ould tip forwrd. When loding items to be wshed: - Lote shrp items so tht they re not likely to dmge the door sel; - Lod shrp knives with the hndles up to redue the risk of ut-type injuries; Wrning : knives nd other utensils with shrp points must be loded in the bsket with their points down or pled in horizontl position. Chek tht the detergent reeptle is empty fter ompletion of the wsh yle. Do not wsh plsti items unless they re mrked dishwsher sfe or the equivlent. For plsti items not so mrked, hek the mnufturer s reommendtions. Use only detergent nd rinse dditives designed for n utomti dishwsher. Never use sop, lundry detergent, or hnd wshing detergent in your dishwsher. Other mens for disonnetion from the supply must be inorported in the fixed wiring with t lest 3 mm ontt seprtion in ll poles. Keep hildren wy from detergent nd rinse id, keep hildren wy from the open door of the dishwsher, there ould still be some detergent left inside. Young hildren should be supervised to ensure tht they do not ply with the ppline. The ppline is not intended for use by young hildren or infirm persons without supervision. Dishwsher detergents re strongly lkline. They n be extremely dngerous if swllowed. Avoid ontt with skin nd eyes nd keep hildren wy from the dishwsher when the door is open. The door should not be left in the open position sine this ould present tripping hzrd. If the supply ord is dmged, it must be repled by the mnufturer or its servie gent or similrly qulified person in order to void hzrd. Plese dispose of pking mterils properly. Use the dishwsher only for its intended funtion. During instlltion, the power supply must not be exessively or dngerously bent or flttened. Do not tmper with ontrols. The ppline is to be onneted to the wter mins using new hose sets nd the old hose-sets should not be reused. 6 DD H_EN_ indd :11:52 Prt nd fetures CONTROL PANEL POWER BUTTON Press this button to turn on your dishwsher: the sreen lights up. 2 PROGRAM BUTTON To selet wshing progrm press this button. 3 4 HALF LOAD BUTTON CHILD LOCK BUTTON For smll mount of loding items, use either the upper or lower bsket only to sve energy. Press the Hlf lod button to selet the upper or lower bsket. This option llows you to lok the buttons on the ontrol pnel so hildren nnot identlly strt the dishwsher by pressing the buttons on the pnel. To lok nd unlok the buttons on the ontrol pnel, hold down both the Child lok buttons for three (3) seonds. 5 DISPLAY WINDOW Running inditor, dely time, error odes nd et. 6 START BUTTON 7 DELAY START BUTTON 8 HYGIENE BUTTON 9 MULTI IN 1 BUTTON In Power on ondition, lose the dishwsher door nd selet the yle nd desired options. Press the START button to begin the yle. When you wnt to puse the dishwsher while running, press the START button nd mke sure to open the door slowly nd refully. You n reset the mhine by pressing the START button for 3 seonds during wshing. After reset, the dishwsher goes to the initil stte. Press this button to set the delyed hours for wshing. You n dely the strt of wshing up to 24 hours. One press on this button delys the strt of wshing by one hour. Push the Hygiene button for the best possible hygiene in your dishwsher. At the finl rinse it het up to 67 C nd hold this temperture for severl minutes. This funtion is vilble with ll progrm exept Pre Wsh, Delite nd Quik Wsh. To selet Multi in 1 option whih needs rinse id but Multi in 1 tblet. This option n be seleted on Intensive, Auto or Norml progrm only. When the door is open only the POWER button will operte. You n selet options (Multi in 1, Dely strt nd/or Hlf lod) before strting yle. RINSE REFILL INDICATOR If the Rinse Refill inditor is lit, it mens the dishwsher is low on dishwsher rinse id nd requires refill. 8 Instlling your dishwsher WARNING : Eletril shok hzrd Disonnet eletril power before instlling dishwsher. Filure to do so ould result in deth or eletril shok. ATTENTION: The instlltion of the pipes nd eletril equipments should be done by professionls. About eletriity onneting CAUTION, for personl sfety: DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD OR AN ADAPTER PLUG WITH THIS APPLIANCE. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR REMOVE THE THIRD GROUNDING PRONG FROM THE POWER CORD. Eletril requirements An AC V / 50 Hz fuse or iruit breker. An individul brnh iruit serving your dishwsher. Grounding instrutions Insure proper ground exists before use This ppline must be grounded. In the event of mlfuntion or brekdown, grounding will redue the risk of eletri shok by providing pth of lest resistne of eletri urrent. This ppline is equipped with ord hving n equipment-grounding ondutor nd grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into n pproprite outlet tht is instlled nd grounded in ordne with ll lol odes nd ordinnes. WARNING: Improper onnetion of the equipment grounding ondutor n result in the risk of n eletri shok. Chek with qulified eletriin or servie representtive if you re in doubt whether the ppline is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the ppline. WATER SUPPLY AND DRAIN Cold wter onnetion Connet the old wter supply hose to threded 3/4 (inh) onnetor nd mke sure tht it is fstened tightly in ple. If the wter pipes re new or hve not been used for n extended period of time, let the wter run to mke sure tht the wter is ler. This preution is needed to void the risk of the wter inlet to be bloked nd dmge the ppline. Provided wter supply hose hs the qu-sfe system. 9 DD H_EN_ indd :11:53 Hot wter onnetion The wter supply to the ppline n lso be onneted to the house hot wter line (entrlized system, heting system), s long s it does not exeed temperture of 60 C. In this se, the wsh yle time will be shortened by bout 15 minutes nd the wsh effiieny slightly redued. The onnetion must be mde to the hot wter line following the sme proedures s those for the onnetion to the old wter line. Positioning the ppline Position the ppline in the desired lotion. The bk should rest ginst the wll behind it, nd the sides, long the djent binets or wll. The dishwsher is equipped with wter supply nd drin hoses tht n be positioned to the right or the left to filitte proper instlltion. 02 INSTALLING How to drin exess wter from hoses If the sink is 1000 mm higher from the floor, the exess wter in hoses nnot be drined diretly into the sink. It will be neessry to drin exess wter from hoses into bowl or suitble ontiner tht is held outside nd lower thn the sink. Wter outlet Connet the wter drin hose. The drin hose must be orretly fitted to void wter leks. Ensure tht the wter inlet hose is not kinked or squshed. Extension hose If you need drin hose extension, Use similr size nd qulity drin hose. It must be no longer thn 4 metres; otherwise the lening effet of the dishwsher ould be redued. Syphon onnetion The wste onnetion must be t height of between 40 m (minimum) nd 100 m (mximum) from the bottom of the dishwsher. The wter drin hose should be fixed by hose lip. Aqu-sfe The Aqu-sfe System is sfety vlve system, preventing wter leks. If the wter inlet hose strts to lek nytime, the sfety vlve uts off the running wter. If the wter inlet hose or the sfety vlve is dmged, remove nd reple it. Do not enlrge or shorten the inlet hose. Instlling your dishwsher _9

10 DD H_EN_ indd :11:53 Instlling your dishwsher CONNECTION OF DRAIN HOSES Insert the drin hose into drin pipe with minimum dimeter of 4 m, or let it run into the sink, mking sure to void bending or rimping it. The top of the hose must be t height between 40 nd 100 m. The free end of the hose must not be immersed in wter to void the bk flow of it. Drin pipe Min. 400 mm Mx 1000 mm Counter POSITION THE APPLIANCE Position the ppline in the desired lotion. The bk should rest ginst the wll behind it, nd the sides, long the djent binets or wlls. The dishwsher is equipped with wter supply nd drin hoses tht n be positioned either to the right or the left sides to filitte proper instlltion. Levelling the Appline 40 mm One the ppline is positioned for levelling, the height of the dishwsher my be ltered vi djustment of the srewing level of the feet. In ny se, the ppline should not be inlined more thn 2. START OF DISHWASHER The followings should be heked before strting the dishwsher. 1. the dishwsher is level nd fi xed. 2. the inlet vlve is opened. 3. there lekge t the onnetions of the onduts. 4. the wires re tightly onneted. 5. the power is swithed on. 6. the inlet nd drin hoses re not knotted. 7. All pking mterils nd printings should be tken out from the dishwsher. ATTENTION: After instlltion plese put this mnul in sfe ple. 11 DD H_EN_ indd :11:53 Using the detergent FILL THE RINSE AID DISPENSER Funtion of rinse id Rinse id is utomtilly dded during the lst rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, nd spot nd strek free drying. ATTENTION: Only use brnded rinse id for dishwsher. Never fill the rinse id dispenser with ny other substnes (e.g. dishwsher lening gent, liquid detergent). This would dmge the ppline. When to refill the rinse id dispenser If there is no rinse-id wrning light in the ontrol pnel, you n judge the mount of rinse-id by the Colour of the optil level inditor D loted next to the p. When the rinse-id ontiner is full, the whole inditor will be drk. As the rinse-id diminishes, the size of the drk dot dereses. You should never let the rinse id get below 1/4 full. As the rinse id diminishes, the size of the blk dot on the rinse id level inditor hnges, s illustrted below. 12 DD H_EN_ indd :11:53 Using the detergent Rinse Aid dispenser 1. To open the dispenser, turn the p to the open (left) rrow nd lift it out. 2. Pour the rinse id into the dispenser, being reful not to overfi ll. 3. Reple the p by inserting it ligned with open rrow nd turning it to the losed (right) rrow. The rinse id is relesed during the finl rinse to prevent wter from forming droplets on your dishes tht n leve spots nd streks. It lso improves drying by llowing wter to wter to run off the dishes. Your dishwshers is designed to use liquid rinse ids. The rinse id dispenser is loted inside the door next to the detergent dispenser. To fill the dispenser, open the p nd pour the rinse id into the dispenser until the level inditor turns ompletely blk. The volume of the rinse id ontiner is bout 130 ml. Be reful not to overfill the dispenser, beuse this ould use over sudsing. Wipe wy ny spills with dmp loth. Don t forget to reple the p before you lose dishwsher door. ATTENTION: Clen up ny rinse id spilt during filling with n bsorbent loth to void exess foming during the next wsh. Adjusting rinse id dispenser The rinse id dispenser hs four settings. Alwys strt with the dispenser set on 3. If spots nd poor drying re problems, inrese the mount of rinse id dispensed by removing the dispenser lid nd rotting the dil to 4. We suggest you to set on 3 (Ftory vlue is 3 ). Inrese the dose if there re drops of wter or lime spots on the dishes fter wshing. Redue it if there re stiky whitish streks on the dishes or bluish film on glsswre or knife bldes. 12_ Using the detergent

13 DD H_EN_ indd :11:53 FUNCTION OF DETERGENT Detergents with its hemil ingredients re neessry to remove dirt, rush dirt nd trnsport it out of the dishwsher. Most of ommeril qulity detergents re suitble for this purpose. WARNING: Dishwsher detergent is orrosive! Tke re to keep it out of reh of hildren. Proper Use of Detergent Use only detergent speifilly mde for use in dishwshers. Keep your detergent fresh nd dry. Don t put powder detergent into the dispenser until you re redy to wsh dishes. Conentrted detergent Bsed on their hemil omposition, dishwsher detergent n be split in two bsi types: onventionl, lkline detergents with usti omponents low lkline onentrted detergents with nturl enzymes The use of norml wshing progrmmes in onjuntion with onentrted detergents redues pollution nd is good for your dishes; these wsh progrmmes re speilly mthed to the dirt-dissolving properties of the enzymes of the onentrted detergent. For this reson norml wsh progrmmes in whih onentrted detergents re used n hieve the sme results tht n otherwise only be hieved using intensive progrmmes. Detergent tblets Detergent tblets of different brnds dissolve t different speeds. For this reson some detergent tblets nnot dissolve nd develop their full lening power during short progrmmes. Therefore plese use long progrmmes when using detergent tblets, to unsure the omplete removl of detergent residuls. Detergent dispenser The dispenser must be refilled before the strt of eh wsh yle following the instrutions provided in the Wsh Cyle Tble. Your dishwsher uses less detergent nd rinse id then onventionl dishwshers. Generlly, only one tblespoon of detergent is needed for norml wsh lod. Also, more hevily soiled items need more detergent. Alwys dd the detergent just before strting the dishwsher, otherwise it ould get dmp nd will not dissolve properly. Fill the detergent in dispenser 03 DETERGENT 1. 14 DD H_EN_ indd :11:53 Using the detergent Amount of detergent to use 1. Fill the detergent dispenser with detergent. The mrking indites the dosing levels, s illustrted on right: A. This setion is for min wsh detergent, pproximtely 27.5 g B. This setion is for the pre wsh detergent, pproximtely 5 g If the dishes re hevily soiled, ple n dditionl detergent dose in the pre-wsh detergent hmber. This detergent will tke effet during the pre-wsh phse. You n find informtion bout the mount of detergent for the single progrmmes on the Wsh yle tble. (See pge 22) Plese be wre, tht ording to the soiling level nd the speifi hrdness of wter differenes re possible. A B 2. Close the lid nd press until it loks in ple. Plese observe the mnufturers dosing nd storge reommendtions s stted on the detergent pkging. Detergents There re 3 sorts of detergents. 1. With phosphte nd with hlorine. 2. With phosphte nd without hlorine. 3. Without phosphte nd without hloride. Normlly new pulverised detergent is without phosphte. If detergents without phosphte were used in se of hrd wter often white spots pper t dishes nd glsses. In this se plese dd more detergent to reh better results. Detergents without hlorine do only bleh little. Strong nd oloured spots will not removed ompletely. In this se plese hoose progrmme with higher temperture. 14_ Using the detergent

15 DD H_EN_ indd :11:54 HOW TO USE THE MULTI IN 1 OPTION Your dishwsher hs Multi in 1 option whih does not need rinse id but 3 In1 tblet. This option n selet on Intensive, Norml progrm only. The Multi in 1 setting is only for use with Multi in 1 tblets. If using Multi in 1 tblet without this option, the ppline will not get it s best performne. 1. Put the Multi in 1 tblet into the ontiner then strt the Multi in 1 option. 2. Close the lid nd press until it loks in ple. When using Multi in 1 ompt ombintion detergents ensure tht the lid n be losed orretly. 03 DETERGENT ATTENTION: Keep ll detergents in sfe ple out of hildren s reh. Alwys dd the detergent in the dispenser just before strting the dishwsher. Using the detergent _15

Attention before or fter loding the dishwsher rks Srpe off ny lrge mounts of leftover food. It is not neessry to rinse the dishes under running wter. Ple objets in the dishwsher in the following order: 1. Items suh s ups, glsses, pots/pns, et. re stood upside down. 2. Curved items, or those with reesses, should be t slnt so tht wter n run off. 3. They re stked seurely nd n not tip over. 4. They do not prevent the spry rms from rotting while wshing tkes ple. Very smll items should not be wshed in the dishwsher s they ould esily fll out of the rks. Removing the dishes To prevent wter dripping from the upper bsket into the lower bsket, we reommend tht you empty the lower bsket first nd then the upper bsket. LOADING THE UPPER BASKET The upper bsket is designed to hold more delite nd lighter dishwre suh s glsses, offee nd te ups nd suers, s well s pltes, smll bowls nd shllow pns (s long s they re not too dirty). Position the dishes nd ookwre so tht they will not get moved by the spry of wter. 17 DD H_EN_ indd :11:55 Adjusting the Upper Bsket The height of the upper bsket n be djusted in order to rete more spe for lrge utensils both for the upper/lower bsket. 1. To lower the upper rk, press the A levers loted t the left nd right sides of the upper bsket nd push the upper bsket downwrds slightly t the sme time. 2. To rise the upper rk, just pull the upper bsket upwrds without operting ny levers. Cution: We reommend djusting the height of the upper bsket before loding dishes into the bsket. If you djust the the bsket fter loding the dishes, you my dmge the dishes. To lower position To upper position 04 LOADING THE RACKS LOADING THE LOWER BASKET We reommend tht you ple lrge items whih re most diffiult to len in to the lower rk: pots, pns, lids, serving dishes nd bowls, s shown in the figure to the right. It is preferble to ple serving dishes nd lids on the side of the rks in order to void bloking the rottion of the top spry rm. Pots, serving bowls, et. must lwys be pled top down. Deep pots should be slnted to llow wter to flow out. There is only spe for 12 stndrd dishes. Do not use dish tht re not suitble for dishwshers. This is importnt for good results nd for resonble energy onsumption. When loding the dishes nd utlery Dishes nd utlery must not impede the rottion of the spry rms. Lod hollow items suh s ups, glsses, pns et. with the opening downwrds so tht wter nnot ollet in the ontiner or deep bse. It is reommended to lod the lower bsket fi rst, then the upper one (see the setion entitled Loding the dishwsher rks ). 2. Pour in the detergent (see the setion entitled Using the detergent ). 3. Insert the plug into the soket. The power supply is VAC / 50 HZ, the speifi tion of the soket is 15A 250 VAC. Mke sure tht the wter supply is turned on to proper pressure. 4. Close the door, press the POWER button, to swith on the mhine. 5. Press the Progrm button, the wsh progrm will be hnged s follows diretion: Progrm Norml Express Quik Wsh Delite Pre Wsh Intensive Auto If wsh progrm is seleted, the response light will light. Then press the START button, the dishwsher begins to strt. When you press the START button to puse during wshing, the running inditor will stop blinking nd the dishwsher will beep every minute unless you press the START button to strt. 05 WASHING PROGRAMMES CHANGE THE PROGRAM... Premise: 1. A yle tht is underwy n only be modifi ed if it hs only been running for short time. Otherwise, the detergent my hve lredy been relesed, nd the ppline my hve lredy drined the wsh wter. If this is the se, the detergent dispenser must be refi lled (see the setion entitled Fill the detergent in dispenser ). 2. Press the STARTbutton, the mhine will be in stndby stte, press the Progrm button more thn 3 seonds then you n hnge the progrm to the desired yle setting. If you open the door during wsh yle, the mhine will puse. The progrm light will stop blinking nd the buzzer will beep every minute unless you lose the door. After you lose the door, the mhine will keep on working fter 3 seonds utomtilly. If your model hs broken memory funtion, the mhine will go on to finish the seleted progrm fter the power ut. Add dish A forgotten dish n be dded t ny time before the detergent dispenser opens. 1. Press the START button nd mke sure to open the door slowly nd refully s there is possibility of injury from the hot stem inside the dishwsher. 2. There re three omponents of the filtering system: the min filter, the orse filter, nd the fine filter. 1. Min filter: Food nd soil prtiles trpped by this fi lter re pulverized by speil jet on the lower spry rm nd wshed down the drin. 2. Corse filter: Lrger items, suh s piees of bone or glss, tht ould log the drin re trpped in the orse fi lter. To remove n item ught in this fi lter, gently squeeze the tbs on top of this fi lter nd lift it out. 3. Fine filter: This fi lter holds soil nd food residue in the sump re nd prevents it from being redeposited on the dishes during yle. ATTENTION: Do not put the fine filter upside down. Filter ssembly For best performne nd results, the filter ssembly must be lened. The filter effiiently removes food prtiles from the wsh wter, llowing it to be reirulted during the yle. For this reson, it is good ide to remove the lrger food prtiles trpped in the filter fter eh wsh yle by rinsing the semiirulr filter nd up under running wter. To remove the filter ssembly, turn it in nti-lokwise diretion nd lift the filter ssembly up. The entire filter ssembly should be lened regulrly. To len the orse filter nd the fine filter, use lening brush. Then, reinsert the entire ssembly in the dishwsher, positioning in its set, pressing downwrd, turning it lokwise diretion Open The dishwsher must never be used without the filters. Cut off eletril power to the dishwsher. 2. Turn off the wter supply nd disonnet the wter inlet pipe from the wter vlve. 3. Drin wter from the inlet pipe nd wter vlve. (Use pn to th the wter) 4. When You Go on Holidy When you go on holidy, it is reommened tht you run wsh yle with the dishwsher empty nd then remove the plug from the soket, turn off the wter supply nd leve the door of the ppline slightly jr. This will help the sels lst longer nd prevent odours from forming within the ppline. Moving the Appline If the ppline must be moved, try to keep it in the vertil position. If bsolutely neessry, it n be positioned on its bk. Sels One of the ftors tht use odours to form in the dishwsher is food tht remins trpped in the sels. WARNING: You hve to wit for 20 minutes fter yle to let the heting elements ool down before lening interior; Filing to follow this instrut my result in the risk of burns. Hrd wter minerls.
