Remove the servie port p of the stop vlve on the side of the outdoor unit gs pipe. (The stop vlve will not work in its initil stte fresh out of the ftory (totlly losed with p on).) onnet the guge mnifold vlve nd the vuum pump to the servie port of the stop vlve on the gs pipe side of the outdoor unit. Run the vuum pump. (Vuumize for more thn 5 minutes.) hek the vuum with the guge mnifold vlve, then lose the guge mnifold vlve, nd stop the vuum pump. Leve it s is for one or two minutes. Mke sure the pointer of the guge mnifold vlve remins in the sme position. onfirm tht the pressure guge shows -0.0 MP (-760 mmhg). 8 8. Pumping down When reloting or disposing of the outdoor unit, pump down the system following the proedure elow so tht no refrigernt is relesed into the tmosphere. Turn OFF ll the supply iruit (inluding Indoor unit, Heter, Outdoor unit et.) onnet the guge mnifold vlve to the servie port of the stop vlve on the gs pipe side of the outdoor unit. Fully lose the stop vlve on the liquid pipe side of the outdoor unit. 4 hnge the settings on the indoor unit. Set DIP swith SW- to OFF, SW- to OFF nd SW-4 to ON on the indoor ontrol ord. Disonnet the signl inputs IN (room thermostt input), IN4 (Demnd ontrol input) nd IN5 (Outdoor thermostt input). 8 Perform the refrigernt olleting opertion. Push ON/OFF utton on the min ontroller. From the option menu, set ooling ON. Set the trget flow temperture to 5. If the system is ontrolled y room temperture thermostt, set the trget room temperture to 0. Refrigernt olleting opertion strts fter 60 seonds. For detils or for other informtion out the min ontroller settings, refer to the instlltion mnul or opertion mnul for indoor unit. NP TO. Push the ON/OFF utton on the remote ontroller to stop the outdoor unit. * Note tht when the extension piping is very long with lrge refrigernt mount, it my not e possile to perform pump down opertion.
